Lily awoke suddenly. She was in a dark room. She could hear voices outside the enclosed myserious room. She then attempted to sit up and put a hand to her migrating head. But that's when she relized she was straped down. It almost reminded her of that gory horror movie she watched once where the girl gets sawed in half by a creepy puppet. She took a deep breathe and attempted to squirm out. But no luck.
Lily then heard approching footsteps. She turned her head in the direction of which it was coming from. The fimiular figure of Chesire walked in.
"Good. You're awake." She smirked evilly.
"My. Nose. Itches." Lily stated.
Chesire was thrown off by that but quickly regained her composer.
"Now listen close-" Chesire started but was cut off by Lily.
"noooooo Miss I-kill-people-for-a-living-cuz-im-to-cool-to-do-a-normal-job-like..I don't know be a veternarian or something. YOu listen. My nose itches and it's pretty obvious I'm not gonna go kill Abraham Lincoln some dude already did that. I'm the hero I'm gonna get out of here.....ya know...eventually."
"You're no longer the hero because you're gonna be joining us. With you, we'd be unstoppable. Face it your wasting time with your little side kick friends and your little tree fort in a mountain."
'How can it be a tree fort if we're in mountain...???' Lily thought.
"Lily? that you??" Came M'gann's voice telepathically.
"YUS! MEGAN SAVE ME!" Lily said as though she was being tortured.(Well....listening to Chesire ramble was kinda tourturing...)
"...you'd be powerful. Terrifing, Maybe." Chesire lagged on.
"I DON'T WANNABE SCARY!" Lily shouted out. Listening to Megan give her the plan and listening to Chesire make threats at the same time was stressing.
Once Lily was breifed on the mission plan she tuned back to Chesire who was still on a long speech about glory. And money er....whatever.
"So, join. Or don't and I'll kill you." Chesire said harshly . Looking firecly at Lily.
"What's in it for me....?" Lily asked. Of course she didn't want in. Never. If she kept talking, the planned sneak attack would work...
"Well first we'll have you kill your munchkins friends. To prove your worthiness. And of course you get paid...Now. Your answer." She demanded crossing her arms.
Lily tried her very best to make it look like she was thinking.
POW!
Superboy bashed through the ceiling.
"NO!" Chesire shouted as Superboy pushed her down and the rest of the team came through the hole left by one Conner Kent.
"Uh..Yes." KidFlash said as he jumped down and ran to Lily's side where he de-strapped her to the table.
"For a speedster you're not very fast." Lily said to Wally.
"Shh" He hushed finally getting her out.
Lily then took a defensive stance.
"Uh. Sorry not the plan." Wally said picking up Lily and bolting out of the dark place.
"WHAT THE FUDGE ARE YOU DOING WALDO?" She yelled.
"Orders..." The Kidflash. reported.
"MEHHHHHH!" Lily groaned.
"I know. But. Batman is....Batman."

Slade moved into the room. He bowed before the dark shadow. The voice spoke to him.
“You failed me Slade.”
“I know master. But she is stronger than we first expected.”
“Yes. I know. I expected as much from her. But we now have her in a dangerous position.”
“Master?”
“Shade must make her choice. She has followed the Light for seventy years. Now, she must choose whether she is willing to risk everything or to continue to play hero.”
“And if she chooses hero?”
“She won't.”
“But Master-”
“Shade thinks she is in the clear. But I have one last trick up my sleeve.”
