Freeze looked at me anxiously as I turned off my communicator.
"What did he say?" he asked.
"Mr. Wayne is glad to give a grant for Nora's recovery," I told him. "And all we have to do now is wait for Robin to come back with Nora."
In the past hour, Mr. Freeze had walked around the zoo more than a hundred times. He couldn't sit still, so he had to walk around.
I loosened my ponytail and let my auburn hair fall to my shoulders. I was thinking of getting it cut, but where was the time?
My communicator vibrated in my pocket; I silenced it so Freeze wouldn't jump every time it beeped. I put it to my ear. "Hello?"
"We're outside," said Robin.
"See you there."
Freeze and I walked to the front gates where Robin and Nora were standing--if not, lying--on the concrete.
I got a grip of one of the metal bars and started climbing, ignoring the eyes that were staring at me.
Mr. Freeze frowned. "We won't get anything done at this rate." He stepped back a few yards and pointed his ice ray at the fence.
"Wait, don't--!" I started.
But it was too late. The ice hit the metal bars, which froze and broke into thousands of little pieces.
I screamed as my body was flung forward, falling to the concrete ground six feet below. I closed my eyes and braced for impact, but my fall was blocked by something soft. I opened my eyes, and found Robin's face centimeters from mine.
"Phew," I sighed, getting up. "Thanks."
Robin glared at Freeze through his mask. "You could have killed her!"
"Would it have been a waste, saving Nora?" Freeze pushed past us and went to his wife.
Robin's fists were clenched, his face turning bright red. I touched his hand softly.
"Let it go," I whispered.
He opened his fists, but his face was still red. We loaded Nora into the bioship and headed for Gotham Health, where an operation was to be held with the grant from Mr. Wayne.
When we landed, we put Nora on a gurney and headed inside, but before we could do anything, gunshots rang through the sky.
"What now?" I groaned. I looked around, shielding Nora along with Robin and Mr. Freeze.
Suddenly, two darkened images emerged from the dark. I recognized them as the two scientists who had been experimenting with Nora.
"We'll be living longer, whether you like it or not!" said one of them. They each pressed a button on their wristwatches, and transformed into giant, blood-red snakes.
"Oh my God..." I heard Robin say from behind me.
They each opened their mouths, revealing two sharp, venomous fangs.
"What did he say?" he asked.

Remember when I posted asking for 10 comments in 2 hours? That's how I picked the lineup for this. I couldn't decide who to put into it, so that was my strategy.
A team is a whole, parts of differences, secrets, and love.
Of brothers and sisters, two wings on a single dove.
There's the new gal, a sweet little kitten,
A crazy fireball, the brightest spirit, always sizzlin'.
The sharp shooter, aiming straight,
The mysterious goddess, rising against fate.
A wise lass, green thumbs for knowledge,
A sisterly leader, keeping an order all must acknowledge.
And one with a broken heart, yet the biggest one.
All a team, all a family. One in the same. True for all that come.
Can you guess who is which?
P.S. 66Dragons helped with this!

The car raced to the Mountains. Zinc had no idea where his 'Father' was taking him.
"Dad, where are we going?"
"Away, to keep you safe. You don't belong here" Replied the Death Spirit.
"What!? what about my twin Zoe, why aren't you taking her to be safe?!"
"She already is. In the eyes of the Spirits."
A cloud of thunder formed right behind the mountains. Echoing throughout the mountain air.
The Death Spirit made a left hand turn into a field of grass.
"Gnome. You'll be safe there". said the Death Spirit.
Blackness filled Zincs eyes, as he fell into a trance.
The Death Spirit had taken Zinc to a far away universe. He was held in a town called Gnome. No way there, no way out. Only by plane.
