We landed on top of a building, and Megan changed the bioship to camouflage mode. My hands were clutched to the edge of my seat, shaking rapidly.
"Okay team," Aqualad unbuckled. "Let's go."
"Okay," I breathed. You could do this, Erica. Just think up of some karate moves.
I followed the team out to the building, where police sirens were heard everywhere.
"There." Megan pointed to the Gotham Treasury, where every door was barricaded with cops.
We ran across the buildings toward the treasury, leaping over the surprised citizens.
"Look it's the Nightfury!" one of them pointed at me.
"Didn't she die last year?" asked another.
This was getting embarrassing. I ran faster, and we finally reached the vaults. Commissioner Gordon looked stunned, but I ignored it.
Artemis bent down and looked at a muddy footprint. "He's definitely here."
Out of nowhere, a heavy metal case came flying my way, aiming for my head.
I screamed and ducked, covering my head. The case crashed into an empty cop car.
"Erica, are you okay?" Aqualad yelled.
"Yes... except for the fact that my head was nearly ripped off!" I yelled back. I spotted a nearby garbage can and tore the lid off, making it shield me. I knew I looked stupid, but I didn't want to risk my head.
I followed the team into the vault, where Clayface was digging into a whole case of gold.
"Stop right there!" I yelled, my shield held tight.
He took one look at me, and laughed. "Is this your new recruit? Batman sure knows some losers..."
"Like you?!" I yelled, flinging the shield at him.
To my surprise, it went right through him. If I wasn't so terrified, I'd be utterly disgusted. I flipped back, dodging the piles of gold he threw at us.
KF sped around him, making him dizzy, but Clayface got the better of him and stopped him with a clay wall.
I remember when I could've done that with Earth... I searched my pockets for any useful gadgets.
Finally, I found electric batarangs, and threw them at him. They were entangled in the clay, electrifying him.
"I don't have time for this!" he shouted. He grabbed a cart of gold, and used his clay to grab me by the leg.
I hug upside down, thirty feet above the floor, my team's heads blurry.
"It's either one or the other!" Clayface offered. He let go of me, and I tumbled to my certain doom.
"Erica!" the team shouted at once.
I shifted my position into cannonball mode, and tucked my head in between my arms. I landed on my back, but at least my head wasn't broken.
"Ow," I complained, rubbing my back.
Clayface cackled a throaty sort of laugh, then sank to the ground and was out of the vault.
Slowly, I got up on my feet. "Let's get him," I panted.
"No." Aqualad stood in front of me, blocking my way. "You're injured. You're in no condition to fight."
I was about to protest, but the ground started to shake wildly. I fell back down, taking Wally with me.
"OW!" he yelled.
"What's happening?" Artemis shouted over the commotion.
But as quickly as it started, the shaking stopped. My ears felt like they were bleeding, but otherwise I was okay.
"An Earthbender," I breathed, Superboy helping me up.
I ran outside, ignoring the confused faces of my teammates.

“When we take revenge against another, we lose some of our innocence”, that’s what they tell me. So I guess I lost all of my innocence. Oh well, I lost it early, might as well have gotten rid of it. See people throw random quotes everywhere, a lot of them don’t seem to apply to me.
“When you get knocked down, pick yourself up and brush yourself off,” I pull the legs of the person who pushed me, bringing them down too.
“It takes 42 muscles to frown, 17 to smile, and 4 to punch the person,” And it only takes 4 more to snap their necks.
Catch my drift? Good.
My name is Agony
And this is my story.

Prologue-
White Star Lines, Southampton, England
06:47 BST, December 15, 1911
“Hey Jim!” I called out.
“Good Morning Miss Orname!” the worker called back.
I grinned widely and continued my walk through the construction yard. Up ahead was the crown jewel White Star Lines had been working on: the Titanic. Unsinkable, the largest ship ever, and it was going to bring a lot of money to my dad and he could retire and move back to Scotland.
My name is Tiana Orname and this is one heck of a story of my life.
