they are a character you make up. how do you make one? think of him/her first.then make a picture of him/her (use a base if necasary.) write a story about him/her using the characters in the tv show/book/movie ect. as well as ur fancharacter.

A fancharacter is a character a author makes up from his/her imagination. U write the character into a fanfiction(like if u write a orginal story based of one tht already exists. like Young Justice). A fancharacter can also b called a OC (orginal chararter)
