avatar came after xiaolin showdown

They arre simalar but this came before avatar

I thought the same thing and here's why

1) Omi and Aang are both bald main characters who glow when they activate their powers

2) At some point of their shows they were able to control all four elements.

3) ATLA and XS have been heavily influenced by Chinese culture

4) They are cartoons that have been made in the US yet have a style that are somewhat influenced by anime

5) Both Omi and Aang have been frozen in ice for over a long period of time

Yep. I like Avatar more, but I still adore this show.

I've never thought about them in relation to one another. They're nothing alike, stylistically or otherwise. Xiaolin Showdown is way sillier, looks cooler, has way more likeable characters and is better written. The only thing it really has in common with Avatar is that there's battling with elements. But unlike Avatar, there's plenty of other things the characters use to fight: other powers, machines, wu, shapeshifting...it's just the better show in my opinion.
