With all of the press about the upcoming Phoenix Resurrection comic bringing Jean back from the dead and X-Men: Dark Phoenix film in 2018, possibly killing Jean there, the category this week is Phoenix Hosts. The qualifications were, of course, a connection to the X-Men and possession of some fragment of the Phoenix Force for a time. After the list was narrowed down and random picks made, these were the eight candidates left.

I chose Rachel Grey because...I love Rachel. No other reason. There are a few names on this list I wouldn't have minded choosing either, like Magik, Madelyne, or Quentin, but Rachel out does them all.
