I had saved Bruno's life. He knew it was too dangerous to be on a mounain, he teleported to the Apache Junction. Unknowing where we were, we camped out. We heard someone walking outside and when we walked out, it was Apache Indians. They started talking, they were speaking Indian so we couldn't tell what they were saying. Bruno threw red circles at their necks, and when they landed, they started speaking english. One of them said " Why are you here? This is the Junction! Get Out!" Me and Bruno looked at each other. We ran as fast as we could, but, I wasn't fast enough. They grabbed me by the hair and pulled me away. Luckily, Bruno put his hand in the bon-fire and threw the fire at the indians. The ran away with so much fear, they fell off a cliff. Bruno grabbed my hand until the reached a forest, there was a small waterfall by the forest.

I slowly walked down the stairs in my pajamas, trying desperately not to make a sound. I peeked around the kitchen corner. Father was sitting at the kitchen table, sipping his coffee and reading the paper. I silently turned around, and tip-toed back to the stairs.

"Cosette," he said in a deep voice. I squeezed my eyes shut and cursed quietly. I turned back around, and shuffled my feet into the kitchen.

Me and my best friend, Leo, both work at the same dumb pizza shop mostly every night of the week, we both get paid the same amount and work the same number of hours. The only difference – I do the deliveries.
I ride this crappy little flat-tyred around the neighbourhood – which, by the way, is so small I memorised it by the age of seven – delivering pizza after pizza. Let's face the facts. All writers get writer's block every now and then. That time when you writing and you just stop because you can't get any ideas. I write all the time, so I get Writer's block constantly. And news flash...it bites! But there are some things I do to overcome them. This is a little article to help all my fellow writers out there!

1. Take a Break!

Believe it or not, it helps to back away from the story for a little while. I mostly write at night when my parents are sleeping. When I get stuck, I sit in the recliner for a few minutes with my mp3 player and daydream. More often...

I woke up feeling groggy. My eyes were swollen from crying, and my head felt like it'd been hit with a sledge hammer a couple of times. Niki's head was on my shoulder, his blonde hair was dry now, and his eyes were also swollen and pink.

I watch the two girls drag Ashleigh's duvet off of her bed and into the contemporary, yet welcoming living room. I watch as they try to make a tent, giggling whenever their construction collapses, and tugging it back into place just to watch it self-destruct every time.

If only it were that easy. Just being able to laugh whenever your life falls apart, then cheerfully re-build it all over again, knowing it will not stay that way, yet not giving up.
