Life,
priceless and important,
gives you the roads
and leaves you choices
of which your luck depends on.

This is your life
and you live it
wrapped by sadness
or happiness.
Who cares?

This is your life,
invisible for others.

You pick the road
and pray that the choice
is right,
but life loves you not,
that's you who love
the joy of life.

Life,
priceless and important,
gives you choices,
unpredictable events,
grays and hope,
and life is all yours.

But, the question is
will you remain sane
even though your life
is cruel to your dreams,
will you remain sane
even when your life
is dying in your eyes.

I was at home eating dinner and drinking with my friends. We were all laughing "No they hated me i swear. Anyway, you wanted to know why i was late."
"Come on, tell us" said Selia
"Alright....I met this guy in a cult."
They all bursted out laughing
"No I'm serious, he was crazy. Found him down the back road. He calls me, the lion."
They all got serious "Well lets go" said Mandy.
"Lets all go" said Frankie
I smiled but I bet the expression on my face was (are you serious?)
We all walked into the cult. Now I don't believe i explained it properly last time. There were big front doors. Orange brown with...

Are yousomebody who can't wake up in the morning?Do you need 2 cups of coffee before you can start a new day?Do you feel awful when you first wake up?

Scientists say it's all because of our genes. How did they find it out?Researchers from the University of Surrey interviewed 500 people. They asked them questions about their lifestyle, for example what time of day they preferred to do exerscise and how difficult they found it to wake up in the morning.Scientists then compared their answers to the people's DNA.

They discovered that we all have a "clock" gene, also called a Period 3 gene. This gene can...

I felt sick and went to the bathroom. I felt sick, but nothing was happening. Then, class ended. The fire alarm started to ring through the hall ways. Everyone was screaming. I realized the fire was right in the hallway of the bathrooms. I barely opened the door to find red monsters in the middle of the fire. I tripped and fell out of the doorway. They saw me and before I knew it, I was tied up and being gagged with a cloth. They left me by the fire. Everyone was trying to find the fire. Bruno appeared in the hallway. Bruno ran to me, going through the flames without a scratch, burn, or injury.....

I stayed in my room all day on Sunday, coming out once or twice to use the restroom down the hall. I didn't see Dad at all that day, which was a plus. Not enough to ease my remorse, though. I wanted so much to run to Micah and get the hell away from here. He, after all, was the only thing keeping me from killing myself right at this moment.

On Monday though, Dad knocked on my door, not so violently this time.

"Alessa! Get up now before you're late!" I dragged my limp body over to my closet and got dressed. I finished getting ready, and then was out the door. I missed Micah; I was late. I probably...

Lucy soon became like a mom to me. She watched after me, and made sure I got enough to eat (even if it was from a dumpster). I grew more anxious as the nine month mark came near. Only then did I think about actually delivering the baby. Lucy promised she'd help me, and that she'd try to remember how it was handled when she had her sons and daughters. The baby began kicking and shifting around a lot, and it doubled me over in pain. It happened quite frequently, and I became bed ridden. Lucy didn't want me walking the streets like this, and she insisted that I stayed in the car. She brought me...

"...What do you mean?" Mom asked. We'd told her about the rent. I had managed to get off the table, but I had to lean against the counter for support. My leg was so sore.

"Mom," Paige said slowly. "We're going to get evicted if we don't pay it."

"So just pay it," she said, oblivious to the seriousness of the situation.

"We can't," Paige said. "We have no money."

"What happened to all of it?" Mom asked, her eyes widening.

"We used it to pay the hospital bill last month. So Matt had offered to pay the rent, and he didn't. Now we're in trouble." Mom was quiet for a moment, then rolled her eyes and...

Seven year old Claire Debony dashed outside of her pa’s barn. Her short, brown hair bouncing behind her as she ran. Her tee shirt flapping behind her in the wind. She was going to meet her friend Wyatt down at the crick. It was an everyday ritual for them.
When she reached the bank of the crick she glanced around for Wyatt. She walked out onto the pier. The pier went about one-fourth into the water.
Claire spotted something out of the corner of her eye. She began to turn, but it was too late. Wyatt, a gangly boy with black...

Two Choices

What would you do?....you make the choice. Don't look for a punch
line, there isn't one. Read it anyway. My question is: Would you have
made the same choice?

At a fundraising dinner for a school that serves children with
learning disabilities, the father of one of the students delivered a
speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended. After
extolling the school and its
dedicated staff, he offered a question:

'When not interfered with by outside influences, everything
nature does, is done with perfection.

Yet my son, Shay, cannot learn...

Like after all the nights before, I had woken up a several amount of times. Every hour, past twelve, until I finally woke at nine. This routine was my life. It was all it was, after Max.
Max, was my life for the twelve years we had. However, five of those twelve years, we spent in grief.
Diagnosed with lung cancer on our sixth year anniversary. At first, we were a little worried--but we were certain that things would turn out fine. He promised me that they would. That, however, was not the case.
With radiation treatment, and surgeries here and there, the cancer came back every year until our twelfth...

Recap:
When i turned around to look in the direction where she was coming from, i saw that nearly all the people who had been standing there were gone.I looked around and saw some of the kids running into the bathrooms, others entering classrooms which they were not supposed to be in.I thought about hiding in one room that was on the left side near the locker i had hit my head on but before i could even move, i had Mrs.copcon say, "Everyone stop where they are standing".
