Here is the first chapter of my story. I posted the first half like two months ago but here it is again. By the way this book has two perspectives. I edited the first chapter.

The first day-Athena's perspective

Boy now that I look back at that week it was when my perspective on all things changed. I knew that week was different. The first day felt off. Just by how I woke up.
"Athena! Get up and get ready for school!" my mom shouted at me
My eyes popped open and I got up immediately and got dressed. This was new for me since I always got up later and refused to get out of bed but I felt like I needed to get up.
I walked downstairs to the kitchen and sat down. My mom's eyebrow moved up "Athena? You are here earlier than I thought you would be. Is everything alright? You even beat your brother," she said
Before I said anything my brother Tom came charging down the stairs. He glared at me "Ugh the one day I don't race you and you win!" he said
I smirked. My brother always thought we had a race going on but we never did. "Make jokes. I'm just as surprised as you are," I said
We all fell silent as we all hear our dad coming down the stairs singing "Last Christmas" He kissed my mom on the cheek and he got cereal from the top shelf.
I laughed "Dad it's not christmas yet," I said
He looked towards me "What's your point?" he asked mouth full of cereal. Mom glared at him and he swallowed "It's a good song. Hey what time is it? You are usually done later. Are you sick?" he asked
I shook my head "No. I just got up. It felt like I needed to. Do you ever get those feelings?" I asked
My brother rolled his eyes "Oh yeah everybody gets those feelings," he said
I punched him in the arm and when he was about to strike me mom coughed "Athena weren't you going to catch the bus early to study for your science test?" she asked
I looked at my watch "Oh shit you're right!" I gasped I jumped out of my chair and flung myself out the door and towards the bus stop.
Mom came out the house "Athena! What did I tell you?" she screamed
I wove my hand "Sorry mom!" I shouted running closer to the bus stop.
As I got to the bus stop the bus came inching forward. The door creaked open and I saw the bus stop. He was a skinny pale white hippie looking guy. He had no hair though "Get on!" he coughed
As I panted I climbed onto the bus and was instantly overwhelmed by the smell of many foul things. I looked forward to locate a seat and I saw one next to a boy in the back row.
This boy had dark blond hair with green eyes. He was scrawny and pale white.
I trudged to the back of the bus and sat next to him. When he looked at me he immediately scooted closer to the window.
The bus inched forward and made it's way through the streets of New York CIty. We passed many buildings and we traveled over a pot hole which made the bus lurch up a bit.
I gasped and put my hand on the nearest thing to console me. When it was over I realized I was holding the boys knee. I looked at him and he went very red "Oh sorry!" I said taking my hand off of his knee
He looked very shaken but his voice came to him "It's fine," he said his voicing cracking.
I giggled under my breath to hide that I was laughing at his voice. It was cute.
The bus reached it's destanation and made a dead stop. The bus sounded it died. I looked at him again and he seemed flustered. He got up quickly and exited the bus tripping over his feet. The people on the bus laughed while he looked red as ever. I just sat there gathering on what just happened.

(WARNING! Sonic the Hedgehog fanfic XD)

A young ebony hedgehog walked along the shore of the Emerald Coast. Her crimson red eyes focused on the rolling waves. She always felt calm around the water. Suddenly, a large boom sounded behind the hedgehog, causing her knees to buckle. "What was that?!" A figure in the distance started towards her. "Get out of here! Quick!" it called. The ebony hedgehog felt the ground shake violently. "Move! Now!" The figure disappeared in thin air. "Hey!" The hedgehog felt something grab her hand.

5 years later...

"Move it, Sky! You're gonna make us late!"...

That same day - Eric's perspective

Oh Jeez...Why did she have to point me out to her friends? I wasn't interesting. They know that I had been watching her for months.
To stop meeting her gaze and being embarrassed I hid myself in a book hoping that I would stop being embarrassed.
"Hey Eric you must be really into that book," My friend Tom said to me as he sat down across from me.
Maybe not. I put the book down a bit "Oh yeah it's great. Hey do you have girls staring at you?" I asked him
His face lit up and he smirked "Oh yeah it's great. I get asked out all the time," he said
I frowned "Nobody...

Okay so recently I thought why don't I tell what i think about some things so let's get this party started.

A few weeks ago my class had to pick a quote/lyric that meant something. So i googled it and found some nice quotes from my good buddy Albert Einstein. We all know him. Anyway this is what i found:
"Gravitation is not responsible for people falling in love."
And as soon as i read that I just went awwwww. I mean is that not one of the best love quotes ever.
Really spoke to me i just loved it! And ever since then haven't forgot. What do you think of this quote.

So next to the whole show and...

Chapter 1
The District

I quietly and quickly pick the katniss plant's roots. Have to hurry home, or at least the ruined building I call my home. Living a destroyed old district, you kind of get used to the idea of having to hurry back to ruined buildings, before the rats and bugs decide to settle into your so called home.I start on my way back, when I see a plump rabbit, just watching me desperately pick the roots, while coated in mud. This annoys me, and with one swift movement, I knife the fat fool from afar. A direct hit. Perfect. I've been working on my knife throwing skills, and got a lucky...

Pain. Fear. Hatred. These things is what my life was full of. Love. Laughter. Happiness. I have none of these things. I used to though. I had a great Mom and Dad. We lived in a small house on the sandy shores of a beach in California. I had a small furry Labrador that would beg for any food he could get his soft paws on. Usually it was only broccoli.

That life doesn't seem amazing. Well....it still was. The nights my family and I had by the crackling fire after a dip in the ocean water were my favorite. My mother would sit on the green chair in the corner and braid my long red hair that everyone...

This is our the land where we live
What we have we won’t give
Up to any without a fight
Our ancestors gave us this birth right
We just want to live in peace
But still the battles will not cease
Until we’re driven from our home
Then we would be left to roam
And settle in some other place
Or wiped out with no trace
Our names they wouldn’t know
So we prepare to meet our foe
The tribal headdress worn with pride
And paint upon our skin to hide
Who they face upon the field
Armed with arrows, spear & shield
Seen as men within a crowd
Surging forth we holler aloud
No fear from us will be shown
As they meet the unknown
Warriors not afraid to die
Fighting for our cause we try
To save our land & family
So our tribe can be free
To live as we choose to do
So let battle now ensue

Chapter 2
An odd man stepped out of the car and instantly I knew who it was. It was the man that came into the shop during my shift. He stalked me all the way down here and now he was standing in front of me. I wanted to scream because of the scary feeling I got from look in his eyes but I found no voice. I was stupid to go to the outer edges of the park where almost nobody was. And the second I could find a breath his hand was over my mouth and I was thrown into the back of a car that was cold and wet. I could barely hear the voices in the front of the car and I wanted to know where I was going....

someone mentioned your name today. It wafted over to me like the smell of spicy perfume - pleasant at first, but one that stings in the long run. My subconscious picked it up, without me noticing and, I must admit, it took me a few tenths of a second to dig up your file in my brain. I seemed to forget who you were for that short amount of time. For that brief, innocent period, I was unaware. The name could have been from years and years ago, it could have been a name I had given to a puppy many years back, the name of a plush toy, the name carved in a bus stop bench. A name that I had known,...

I lived in my cold dark world for my entire life.
Feeble, absentminded, indifferent, and apathetic are what I am
After shunning the outside world for all its transgression towards me.
I survived through "drifting through life": doing what I am told, agreeing to whatever argument I find myself in, keeping whatever opinion I hold to myself
so that the situation I'm in will be over
and I can get back to my shell, my refuge
My world.
My world, my sanctuary,
my safe haven until an intruder tried to break in
My mother telling me to let her and my "loved ones" in.
What do I do?
What do I do?
The panic sets in;...

THE COUNCIL-2-

CHAPTER 2

"Mr. Smith! Your tea is ready!" Parker's smiling face appeared out the sliding glass door, as she called to Mr. Smith. You could see the sea breeze that had collected on her face from being outside, all glassy and hot.Her long arms wiped it away and she turned around, her long braid whipping in the wind.

The table was set and ready for tea. Her face shone in accomplishment. She never really had set a table. When Mr.Smith came through the door he took a seat at the table and nibbled on a scone that Parker had made fresh.

"Is it alright? I know that I've never really...

Prologue

I didn’t know what else I could do. I did everything they wanted me to do, but it wasn’t enough. It was never enough. So they kicked me out. I only had time to pack my bag and leave. I had no place to go, no person to turn to. I was alone. That first night I spent sleeping outside on a bench. I felt the cold spread true my body like a thousand knifes. When the sun began the rise, I got up and went on my way out of this horrible place. I was 17-years-old and I had been in six different foster homes. I didn’t want to be put in another foster home again, so I decided to leave for...

"Dad, we need to talk," I announce as I walk in the house. "Dad? Are you here?" I ask. I'm answered with silence. "Probably down at the shop," I mumble to myself.
"Kodi? Why do you always assume he's home when we are? He's been down in the shop till seven for years. You know that" my little brother Jo reminds me in his know-it- all way. Typical freshman. And slightly like Rachel.
"Well for awhile he made sure he was here when we got home. Just an old habit of mine I guess." Jo responds something incoherent.
"Well, I'm going to the shop, if you want to come," I offer, knowing he'll stay here.
"Nah,...

Daisy

Daisy was walking round the streets at night. She did it partially because she couldn’t sleep, and because she loved the stars. She thought the stars were amazing, and she still admired them like a child would, even though she was twenty-four and just stuck inside a fourteen-year-old’s body.
But stargazing wasn’t why she wandered down a dark alley to find a young girl getting abused by a man just like her father. The girl’s aura was a startling bright red as she struggled to get away from him, whereas the air around him was a dull, greedy brown as he enjoyed her fear.
Daisy’s...
