Vampires are known in both human and monster worlds. Vampires who are born from a family of vampires are known as pure bloods, these are the main group of vampires in both worlds. Pure bloods are the most powerful vampire whose blood has not been tainted (Other species blood) Half bloods are either humans or other creatures who a pure blood has injected their blood into or has a past history of vampires and has gained vampire blood in their generation. Only creatures of no special ability of their own can gain vampiric power, if the creature has an power of their own the blood will act as an short turn sickness until the blood has vanished.
The reason why Marley, Opal and Alec are half bloods is because many creatures found the way to the human world before others and left to live there. A very distant relative of Marley’s was a pure blood and must have fell in love with a human, same for Alec’s blood line. “So.... where should we go to... well, you know” Said Opal. “This is always so hard, we always have to be careful not for anyone to see us” Said Marley. “It’s harder for you and me since we only drink the blood of women, the day I drink blood from a male is the day I become a pure “ Said Alec. “Why are you so picky? It’s not like drinking blood from a male is sexual, it’s just eating for the sake of eating” Said Opal. “Sigh” “Just forget it” Said Alec.
“Maybe the park? It’s not very popular and there may be a blind spot for us to bite someone” Said Marley. Everyone started to stare at the ground trying to think of some place, just then Nathan walked up to them. “Hey guys, where you off too” Said Nathan. Everyone looked up and tried to think of something to say to him without spilling the secret.”Ahh... nowhere just think we might walk home, man” Said Marley. “You guys are so dull, come to the plaza with me and some other mates from school” Said Nathan. “Um... sorry we have to get home as fast as we can, Marley’s rat needs water (Marley does have a pet rat called Ryuuk) and we can’t leave him like that so bye” Said Opal.
“I guess the park is the place” Said Alec. “Yeah, it’s the best place to go and not get caught, man” Said Marley. It takes about half an hour to get to the park. When they arrive there is this one spot that is perfect, there are two girls sitting next to each other. Both girls are about 17 years old, which is in Marley’s and Alec’s code (Female, 12-30 years old). Opal does not mind who she bites as long as it’s not anyone she knows too well. “Marley, look at those two girls they should do” Said Alec. “We’ll bite their necks from behind, we better hurry my fangs have just extended fully, man” Said Marley lifting his mouth up trying to see his fangs. Opal has just found a male between the ages of 20-25 sleeping on a bench. “Perfect” Opal said under her breath.

My name is Timothy Roger Cole III. This is more or less my story.
Well, mine and about a half dozen others. So for the sake of convenience I'm going to tell this story to you from a third person perspective, and not always narrate it from my own point of view - since I wasn't present for some of the important stuff, and it'd be easier to tell you what happened than recount the tedious discussions on this stuff that I had to go through to get anything remotely resembling a full picture of the events.
I hope you appreciate the things I go through for you. Anyhow, let us begin.

CHAPTER THIRTEEN:
OCTOBER 30, 11:22 PM
I feel nothing but fury towards Pike as I continue on towards Harold’s house. Danny, of course is against the idea, however, I have not told him I healed Harold’s condition, and unless I can find a way to make it with everyone surviving the next twenty-four hours, I decide that information is best left secret. As I near the exit that will take me back into the suburbs, I realize is less than an hour until Halloween, I drift back off into my memory of that fateful night all those years ago.

We are less than a mile from exiting...

Hows it going do you think?

Our story begins with an elf gliding through the trees. His lean body let him jump from tree to tree as if he were flying.
It was spring, his favorite time of the year. The daffodils and forsythia were in bloom, and the trees were once again turning green. He stopped on a particularly large branch and looked up into the clear sky. His dark blue eyes without the memories of the horrors of war, his skin without the scars of the torture it brings. For he was yet young, and all the time he has been alive has been peaceful.
He flew once more through the trees. He loved...

Chapter 2
"Please! Please! Please!" I begged. My parents exchanged glances, then looked back at me.
"You want a lemur, Mana?" Mr. Walker asked.
"Yes! Please! I'll take really good care of her!" I pleaded.
"How much would it cost to take care of it?" Mrs. Walker asked.
"Well, they eat fruit, and not much because they're so small. Plus, this lemur was circus trained, so she shouldn't need anything special."
"What about health, and the veterinarians?"
"I'll turn 12 in a week, so I can babysit more often. I can use that money to pay for the vet's bill," I said, really having no idea. I just agreed to...

CHAPTER NINE:
On the drive back to my apartment, I cannot help but feel something is amiss. What it is, I don’t have a clue. As I continue the drive, I once more delve into my past…
CRYSTAL FALLS: 1850
I awaken an hour later, still in pain from the sun’s rays. I feel Perry’s dried blood on my face, and find myself disgusted at what I have done. I cannot believe the situation I’ve landed myself in. About ten minutes later, Perry returns to the cave. From where I do not care, or even want to know. I feel nothing but burning hatred and contempt for him. I still do not know what prevented...

CHAPTER SEVEN:
I return to my apartment, and turn off the police radio, which is only reporting the incident I was involved with earlier that night. I suddenly feel tired once again, and this shocks me. As I lay back on the couch, I continue thinking of Pike, and my first night of being a vampire.
CRYSTAL FALLS: 1850
I hesitate, and then follow Perry outside. Only moments ago, I found myself full of anger, yet at the same time, worry, although not for my own sake, but for my father’s, who is still asleep in the other room. For some odd reason, I am in pain, not from my wound, which has disappeared...

CHAPTER FOUR:
As I near the parking lot of Crystal Falls High School, my supersonic hearing picks up on hundreds of voices. As I pull into a parking space, I note how many people are already there. As I walk into the office, the ten minute warning bell rings. I walk up to the desk, and the secretary looks up at me. “Yes?” she asks. I quickly explain that I am new to the school, and that I am a senior. She looks up my name in the student records, and nods. “Ashley Garland. Age seventeen? Transferring from Santa Barbara?” she asks. I nod, and hear the hum of the printer as it prints out...

A shadowy figure silently brushed the silken curtains aside as she slipped through the open window and stepped into the dark chamber. Passing a small table and a bed, the fox quickly headed towards a cabinet that stood against the far wall.
Beaded necklaces hung above a oval mirror that was set in the center. Her eyes rested on a miniature strongbox half hidden behind the mirror.
Paying no heed to the deafening clatter coming from the oblivious guest downstairs, she skillfully picked the tiny lock and raised the lid. It was hard to tell what was what in the darkness, so she emptied it into...

My name is Annabelle. I am sixteen and I am beaten.

I lived with my dad and mom in that trailor park on the edge of town between the bar and the strip of stores everyone avoids. We lived happily until my mom, Mary, died in that car crash five years ago. My dad became depressed, drinking alcohol and gambling. He was soon unemployed, so to keep the trailor I had to drop out of school. He is now a deep alcoholic and gambles with his buddies every other day.

Whenever we run out of spirits he hits me. He keeps hitting me until I go to the bar nearby and get more. This happens every two days by his...

My breath came out in a white, frozen cloud before me and smelled heavily of my mint gum. My footsteps’ sounds were wet on the sidewalk. It had rained just before I left the bookstore and, just by my luck, someone stole my car (boy, was my dad going to have a cow when he hears that…), so I had to walk all the way home in the wet night, all by myself. I prayed silently that I would be able to find my way because I was new in town and barely knew where everything was. I had to use a crappy GPS to find the bookstore. I was just lucky I found it.
    The town was Cassidy....

Hiya! First stab at adding something I wrote to the writing spot. This is a cliche little story inspired by the Mayday Parade song "One Man Drinking Games." Comments would mean the world. (:

And you swore you saw me laughing, and I swore I saw you smile
And the time we've spent together was meant to last us quite a while
As I take this piece of you with me I'll carry to my grave
Knowing that for someone you're an angel sent to save

Scarlet's P.O.V

I woke up feeling the rough but smooth texture of my worn down bed. I looked around tiredly yawning getting up to change I got my things and headed out. The village was mostly quiet rarely its loud. Our village was very poor. I went in the woods we were banned from going in their. I went in anyways I went alone I had no buddies at all. I was in woods shooting some arrows It was like 98 degrees out I was sweating. Their was a ant on my arm I tapped and hit my hand and shacked it when water swooshed up. I curiously tried again I moved my arm up and the water rose up. I smiled in...

“I want to go home,” I groaned noisily, smacking my head onto the gray table my friends and I sat at. I was in my first period physics class with my group of friends. It was the second day of the school year and all looked as it had for the past three years.

Chris glanced over at me with dull blue eyes. “Yeah, well I do to, so shut up,” she replied with a grumpy sigh. No one was in a particularly good mood this time of morning, well Jeydon was, but that probably had something to do with the fact that she was used to getting up at the crack of dawn.

“Who pissed in your Cheerios this...

Vampire Knight is one of Viz's top-selling series, and it's not hard to see why: While it's not for everyone, the love triangle, supernatural romance, and hint of forbidden love are like catnip for some readers. The Art of Vampire Knight, released earlier this month by Viz, is a beautifully produced art book that will be pure heaven to Vampire Knight junkies (but probably a bit boring for everyone else).
The book collects the full-color art that manga-ka Matsuri Hino created for the chapter openings in LaLa magazine and the tankoubon covers. Some have been published as part of the English-language...

Very few people in the modern world obtain their food supply by hunting and gathering in the natural environment surrounding their homes. This method of harvesting from nature's provision is the oldest known subsistence strategy and has been pratised for at least 2 million years. It was, indeed, the only way to obtain food until rudimentary farming and the domestication of wild animals were introduced about 10 000 years ago.

Because hunter-gatherers have fared poorly in comparison with their agricultural cousins, their numbers have dwindled, and they have been forced to live in marginal environments,such...

Hi. My name is Jake Gartner, and right now, basically a huge mutant serpent is coming to swallow me whole, tear me to pieces of flesh, so I have no time to talk right now. Oh, um...you want to follow me? Sure, just accept that everyday will be the best of the thrills. Right now, we are not getting any help from the immortal world, so just know that we have a horrible system of magic right now, and we have an extremely low supply of weapons, thus, the chance that you will get out of this mess is around eighty-six percent. (because of me, the master of war) Oh yeah, the serpent. Enough talk. (ROARS) Off to kill a mutant serpent!!! (stabs, deflects, cuts a gash in its head, dies) That's only our first one, trainee. Whatever your name is. Next time, I invite you to join with us on our battle. And it will be even more life-consuming, if you know what that means.
Well..I guess I am not realy good at writing stories..but I love doing it so I guess I can post one short story here~~~

I knew nightmares pretty well. Those sick, little, messed-up dreams, which you can never forget. No matter how much you try they stuck in your head unwilling to set you free. But I guess, I'm used to that. I had nightmares since I was a little child and some of them more than once. After I reached the age of seven they became my second shadow. It was like I had an alter-ego. I became so intoverted that in the end people were afraid to touch...
