The subject of Rowan stopped the chewing of pizza and sipping of soda. Everyone at my sleepover knew I had had a HUGE crush on him for a really, really long time. Finally, someone spoke. It was my best friend, Liz. “Um, Victoria, how do you expect this plan to work out? I mean, you know...” Liz had always been sensitive about the boy, even though they’d ended a 2-year relationship almost 7 months ago, she still wasn’t over him. Someone else replied, by saying “Um, Liz? Hun? YOU BROKE UP WITH HIM LIKE, 7 MONTHS AGO! You really need to move on.” I shifted uncomfortably. I hated when people were mean to her because of Rowan. No one knew that Liz hadn’t broke up with him... He broke up with her. But I wasn’t suppose to know... So, I held the sad, terrible secret. “Um, Alena?” “Yes, Victoria?” I said to her in a whisper, “SHUT THE HECK UP. YOU KNOW SHE’S SENSITIVE!” Alena pursed her lips. “Sorry.” I looked at Liz. She was twirling a stand of hair around her finger. “Um... Liz? Are you okay?” As concerned as I was, I was kind’ve hoping I’d be the one to say that. Liz looked up at Alena, with an angry expression on her face. “Yeah, Alena, I’m okay. Are you?” Alena backed off, and we continued eating.
~
“Well, we’re done eating. What are we gonna do now?!” Everyone sat on my bedroom floor, looking at me, expecting me to know what to do. I clicked the keys on my laptop. “I don’t know. You guys wanna go over to Rowan’s house? He just texted me and asked us to come.” Liz shifted her position and stared out my window. “Uh, there’s six of us...” “Yea, I agree with Mia.” “Alena, it’s not YOUR sleepover!” “Shut up, Alex.” “Excuse me?” “You’re excused.” “Listen here, Miss Priss. I don’t know who you think you are, but-” “GUYS! Shush. I’LL decide since you can’t without arguing.” They mumbled and glared at each other. I sighed. “Um, I don’t think we should go. I mean...” Liz started to say something, but quickly shut her mouth and bit her lip. “I mean, you know, six girls and one boy? A bit suspicious sounding, don’t you think?” They nodded in agreement. “Yeah. I thought so. Oh! I have a good idea! Lets watch a movie.” Liz perked up. She loved watching movies. “Yea! Lets do THAT!” I laughed. “Ha ha, c’mon. Let’s watch it down stairs.” I slid off my bed. Everyone stood up and exited my room. I grabbed my snuggie, and followed.
~
“So, what are we gonna watch? Three of us stood in front of the movie case. The other three of us sat on the couch texting and talking. “27 Dresses?” “No.” “Titanic?” “No!” “Oh! LITTLE WOMEN!!!” “NO!” Charlie frowned. “Fine. How about Gone With The Wind?” She pulled the movie off the shelf. “Um, sure. Liz?” “Sounds good.” “What about ya’ll?” I nodded to the girls sitting on the couch. They all exchanged glances and nodded, mumbling among themselves. “Kay. I’ll go pop popcorn and get snacks. Liz, will you put the movie in the DVD player? “Yea.” “Alright. To the kitchen I go!” I left the room, and entered the kitchen. From the smooth wooden floors to the polished cabinets, the kitchen was a mom’s dream. I made my way to the fridge. Suddenly I heard a loud scream. I ran back into the living room. “WHAT HAPPENED?!” Liz was sitting on the ground, Alex was in a pushing position, and Alena was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. “Ugh! I leave to get YOU guys SNACKS and you start to fight!” Liz, being the sensitive girl she is, began to cry. I grabbed her wrist and jerked her up the stairs.
~
When we got to my room, Liz slumped to the floor. By friendly instinct, I dropped down besides her. “What happened?” She sighed and put her head in her hands. “I-I was putting the disk in the DVD player, and overheard Alex talking to Mia about how hopeless you and Rowan were.” I sighed. “So, I turned around and said “Guys, you have no clue what Rowan wants.” Alex gave me an evil eye. But she didn’t stop talking. So, I repeated what I said. She pushed me, and I nearly busted my head open on the entertainment center.” My eyes narrowed. “She PUSHED you?” “Yes.” “I’ll take care of that.” I grabbed my iPhone off my vanity, and dialed Alex’s number. She picked up after ½ of a ring. “Yea?” “You’re mom called. She needs you to go home. NOW.” “Um, okay?” She hung up, and trudged up the stairs to get her bags. She walked in my room. I smiled a fake smile, and when she turned around, I glared at her. She picked up her purse, and duffel bag. She smiled, and walked from my room.

Hey, so this is a poem Ive been thinking of for a long time, please read and comment!
The Spirit
The spirit rushes on,
Swifter than the wind,
To find answers,
To seek the way.
The spirit flows on,
Like the river.
Flowing on to find the ocean,
A home for all its dreams.
The spirit shines on,
Brighter than a thousand suns.
Shining on to clear the darkness,
To find the path.
The spirit lives on,
More eternal than the sea,
Living on to find its home,
Where all the ends shall meet.

Forever
Forever you are mine
Forever I’ll be here
Forever is what you promised
Your heart is worth nothing
But the your soul is priceless
Forever can be a long time
Forever can be a long time cut short
It’s worth the suffering
It’s worth the sacrifice
To forever be yours
Forever protected by your eagle like wings
Forever loved by your ocean wide heart
Forever safe in your warm embrace
Forever is worth the wait
To be sliced thin
To stuffed thick
Forever is Forever
Forever is Eternity
Forever is a risk
Forever is a chance
Forever is worth the wait
Forever you are mine
Forever I’ll be here
Forever is what you promised

preface
if the one person you told the truth to all the time was now the one person you have to keep it away from, would you?
would you be able to lie through your teeth and pray that he believes you? what if he was the one person you told everything to, he was the one who keeps you from falling apart, but if you told him anything he might be the one to bring you tummbling down.
if you had to chose between lieing to him, hurting him, and keeping him away from you, what would you chose? because if you dont chose right, he may very well die.
