CHAPTER 1

Vector LeVay sat in the back of his limo with an annoyed expression on his face. His arch enemy, Antonio Esposito had returned back from France after three hundred years. Vector knew he know doubt wanted revenge. After all he had been the one who had imprisoned him in France. He had done so, so that he could reap havoc on Italy.
That wasn't the main reason LeVay was irked. News had reached him that Esposito had an apprentice. Vector had nearly lost his immortal life in the battle with Esposito. Two of him could be worse.
How am I going to fix this? he thought. Esposito will want revenge. I've been reaping people in this town for three centuries! Vector LeVay was a Necromancer. Also known as a lectoblix. He stole the life force and youth of mortals to stay young and immortal.
How he was going to fix it, Vector didn't know. But he had an idea of where to start. He first had to get rid of his apprentice.

Antonio Esposito and his apprentice's heads popped out of the water of the Venice canals. His apprentice spewed a considerable amount of water out of his mouth as he surfaced.
"That is the last time I travel by mage portal," he said breathing heavily. Alexis Ganus was a tall sixteen year old with long black hair, and green eyes. His black cloak usually billowed, but seeing as it was sopping wet it wasn't doing that at the moment.
Alexis had joined Antonio in Paris. He had been his apprentice for a month. His family beleived him to be dead, since it would have caused to much trouble to just run away.
He was a humerous young man, but he knew when to be serious.
Antonio laughed at his apprentices response. "I warned you that you can only control where you come out to a certain degree. Believe me this is not the worst place i have come out at. For instance i ended up in the middle of a brick wall once."
Alexis shuddered at that thought. Then regained himself. "Can we just get to shore. I want to cast the drying spell as soon as possible." Antonio chuckled and began swimming to the nearest bridge.
Once on shore he cast the drying spell on himself and on his apprentice.
"I could have done that," Alexis grumbled. Antonio chuckled. Alexis was very independate. He hated when someone did something that he could have done himself for him.
"I know, but if its cast wrong, you could dry out your skin and hair, and that is not a pretty thing, believe me." Alexis grumbled a bit, but held his tounge any further.
Another question appeared in his mind, and thoughts of the previous subject dissapeared. "So where will we be staying. A hotel?"
Antonio laughed at this. "No my dear boy. You forget that Italy is my birth country. Venice is my birth town. I have a house here."
"How big?" Alexis asked. Antonio chuckled. Typical teenager, he thought.
"About as big as two white houses," he said. Antonio knew very well how big the white house was. He was part of the team that built it.
Antonio Eposito was a tall figure with an athletic build and short, trimmed hair. He had tan skin, and a long black cloak. He had been born in 1421.
"That is quite big," Alexis said, rubbing his hands a little.
"What are you thinking?" Antonio asked raising an eyebrow. Alexis scowled at him.
"I was thinking that i'm quite tired of sleeping in cheap hotels."
"Don't be ungrateful," Antonio scoulded his apprentice. "Or have you forgotten that I am teaching you magic."
"Of course I haven't Antonio. But I'm a teenager, it's in my nature to complain." Antonio sighed and shook his head.
"You realize I'm 590 years old. I haven't been a teenager in over 570 years."
"Excuses, excuses," Alexis said.
"Oh shut up and follow me," he said. Alexis sighed and nodded. Using a little magic they sped up their run, so that they reached sixty m.p.h. Within a few minutes they were ten miles away from Venice, and in open land.
Alexis began feeling like they should turn around. The feeling grew as they stopped.
"Antonio, are you sure this is the right place?" he asked. Antonio smiled at his apprentice.
"Don't worry, those are just the deffenses. It's a destractor spell. Not very potent, but it keeps people away."
"What's a distractor spell?"
"It's a spell that, well, distracts people. When you put it around a location and someone gets near it, they feel the urge to turn around."
Alexis nodded, soaking in the imformation. "Okay so how do I make this feeling go away?"
Antonio chuckled. "About two steps forward and it'll dissapear." Alexis walked forward, and the instant he passed Antonio, the feeling dissapeared.
"Aren't they're any other defenses?" Alexis questioned.
"Oh yes many," Antonio said. "If anyone but me tried to get in here unwanted they most likely wouldn't come back out. Only one person in the world has been able to do so."
"Vector LeVay," they said at the same time.
"I have just temporarily disabled them," Antonio said. Alexis nodded, and they continoued forward. A minute later, a large mansion appeared on top of a hill that had previously, held nothing.
Antonio walked up and withdrew a gold key from his cloak. The letter AE laid on top of the key. Alexis had wanted to ask what that key had done previously, but could never muster up the courage.
After he had stowed the key back in his cloak, he pulled out a silver key with the same design, and unlocked it again. Finally he repeated the process with a bronze key. A click rang through the air.
Antonio winked as he opened the door. "One last defense. You need all keys to open this door, and they have to be in that order."
Alexis nodded and smiled. "Big on defense aren't you?"
Antonio regarded his apprentice sharply. "Yes, I am. All my secrets, treasures, and spells are in here. In fact one of the most powerful weapons in the history of magic is stored here."
Alexis nodded, and apologized for this. They walked inside and Alexis was met by the most beautiful house he had ever seen.
Polished hardwood floors, Rugs and plants sat in different places. A half moon leather couch sat in a living room, beside the stairs. A plasma screen that was as big as a movie theater screen sat in the living room, along with a nice sound system, and a dvd player.
The kitchen had an island in the middle with two sets of cabinets. One with potion ingredients, one with cooking ingredients.
The upstairs branched off into a T formation. There were four doors. Three rooms, and another that Alexis guessed had the artifact in it. He guessed this because he could feel a powerful magical aura coming from the room.
Alexis' room had a four poster bed. he had his own TV, and dvd player, along with quite a few spell books, and normal books.
"This is the best house I have ever seen," he said.
"Strange thing is, this house is actually magical in its self. It changes decoration due to the era. For instance in medival times it would look like the inside of a castle."
"Interesting."
"Yes," Antonio said thoughtfully. "Well, follow me down to the kitchen and we'll get something to eat."
Minutes later they were enjoying a nice meal of chicken and rice.
"So what do we do while we're here?" Alexis asked, spooning
another mouthful of rice into his mouth.
"Well, after we find out where Vector is hiding, we attack him. No doubt he has been feeding on the youth of Venice's people. Until then, I can just sit back and relax."
"What about me?" Alexis asked. Antonio grinned like a mad man.
"You my dear boy, have a lot of studying to do."

When it hits, it hits hard
Worse for you, because you saw it coming from the start
A blizzard of thoughts and truths buzz around your head
You can't think, it makes you wish for death.
Blood and sacrifice are your devotions,
but life can only give so many promotions
Soon, it will give up on you.
Give up first.

The pain it brushes against your cheek,
A touch so soft, leaving you so weak
The broken glass of a stained window leaves you praying,
He's the devil's spawn, he's recreating
What was gone for good once.
But he's not for good, he's for bad.
And bringing back what made us sad.
Life is over,
I'll make it...

Why?
That one word that everyone asks themselves some time in their life.
Why?
Always with a question mark.
I ask myself this now. As I stumble out the bed, yesterday's horrors were sinking in like the Titanic.
My head hurt, my eyes hurt, my legs hurt. But mos of all my heart hurt. I wanted to rip it out my chest, tear it apart and keep it from hurting me again. Why did he do this?
That word again.
Why?
I trip and fall flat on my face in the dark bathroom. To a lot of people this is just a normal Saturday morning. To me, it was like a nightmare you couldn't wake up from.
It hurt. Everything hurt....

Where I was stood it felt like flying. I could feel the soft breeze caressing my face and lifting tendrils of my long black hair. I smiled slightly as the wind reminded me of my mother. She was always with me, just like she said she would be.
I opened my eyes slowly to look at the beautiful world around me. Standing on a piece of jutting out rock next to the waterfall, I could hear the water rushing and cascading downwards. I could see all the trees laid out beneath me, lush and emerald green, only separated by the wide, glistening blue river that carried on the waterfall I was next to.
I...

Defined words;
Words that play roles in the exact Deadly forms that declare one as a person.
Tears written by the hand of an invisible Teenage nothing.
Whose words represent the world’s untold secrets,
who is nothing may write all that is something.
Yet there plays a frown of despair and loneliness,
Eyes falling through her transparent perspective, creativity a blob ignored by most.
There is a hollow Empty,
Yearning for something,
Misunderstood and malicious morbidity that attacks her soul in a war of mankind;
The end to everything and yet the beginning of something totally new.
Who mimics her...

That day at school, I was afraid for possibly my life. If Blake let anything slip... I was dead. I was afraid to mention anything though. What if he decided he would tell someone? In English class, he talked to me like normal, but he seemed reserved. He wasn't his usual happy-self. Then Mateo came over.

"Hey man, why'd you leave last night? It was awesome!" he said. Blake looked back at me; a reminder. Apparently Mateo paid little to no attention to me last night.

"Something came up," Blake said exasperated. Mateo rolled his eyes.

"Whatever. Are we still hanging out tonight? Gwen wants to go see...

Feyriem Faeor Burian...Feyries Of Winter
Snow. To us, it seemed like the pure spirit to keep us alive. It was always saddening to know that winter passed so mysteriously, every year; a new condition globally, whether it be a blizzard or rarely a snowfall at all. Either way, the cold was a mixture of high against our skin, and the instant that we saw frost escaping from the sky and settling against the window the previous morning, we knew we were in luck.

I am sad to say that it's not winter right now.

No, beyond the human portal it was only the blazing sun that taunted us as we stayed indoors, avoiding the exposure. For the feyries...
