After dinner, everyone scattered out in the Temple, and Elizabeth was going to go to her room. She walked out of the dining room and into the corridor. She didn’t know where to go so she decided to go left; she wandered around when she finally took a right. She opened up a door. Elizabeth peered inside; she saw Wyatt, Lucifer, and Xavier sitting around a giant, red pentagram in the center of the room. They did not hear the door open.
She watched them thoughtfully. Wyatt was the leader of the Temple. Therefore, he was doing most of the talking. She leaned closer into the doorway. She could hear Wyatt.
“I was talking to the Head Council last night. They said that there have been problems going on lately with the Blind world.”
“Here or…?” Lucifer questioned.
“Well, a little of everywhere. Mainly here,” Wyatt pointed to the peak of the pentagram. “On the home front, and here,” he touched another point, “in Russia.”
“Who will be responsible for the Russia problem?” Xavier asked.
“We will, the Head Council wants us to go investigate. Before we go to Russia the Council wanted to give us some sort of going away party. The party will be formal. Lucifer, I expect you to be on your best behavior. The party is tomorrow. We leave at dawn Sunday,” said Wyatt.
Everyone stood up and walked toward the door. Elizabeth ducked into another room, hoping to not be seen.
She looked around the room. There were scented candles everywhere. In the middle of the stonewalled room, was a white loveseat. On the loveseat, kissing passionately was Xavia, and Eli. Elizabeth let a small amount of air escape from her mouth. They heard, and broke apart immediately. Xavia looked down and bit her lip nervously. Eli looked down, his jaw clenched.
“Uhh…heh heh…sorry,” Elizabeth blushed, and walked out of the room hurriedly. She could feel the blood still at her facial region, and wished she wasn’t so fair skinned, so it wouldn’t show up as bad.
“Well, hello to you, too,” Xavier chuckled. Elizabeth jumped as she ran into him.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to run into you. I didn’t see you there,” said Elizabeth her face still red.
“It’s fine. I’m guessing you couldn’t find your way back to your room?” Xavier asked.
“No…No, I couldn’t. This damned Temple is just so big,” said Elizabeth glancing around, not quite knowing where to look.
“Come on, I’ll show you the way,” Xavier said kindly, holding out his hand. He led her through the Temple, his cold hand around hers. He was cold, but it was to be expected, considering he was a vampyre.
After a while, they reached her room.
“You guys should really label the Temple, you know,” said Elizabeth.
“It’s not that hard to get around in after you’ve been here for a while…But there is a party tomorrow night, and I was wondering if you would like to go with me, “Xavier said nervously.
“Ummm…yeah, sure. I would love to,” Elizabeth answered shakily.
“Great, well, it’s very formal so you will need to get a dress. Well, I think I heard Adam calling, see you,” Xavier was gone in a flash.
Elizabeth ran into her room, and jumped onto her bed. (She could jump if she had to.) She buried her face in her pillow, and screamed in excitement.

Memories,
Confusion,
So many thoughts,
The end is near,
The darkness coming,
Now its here,
The show is over,
The lights are off,
We now say goodnight,
Goodbye,
As we begin 2 open the new chapter
It hurts at first,
Will the changes be extreme?
Please, just tell me,
This was only a dream,
I want to go back,
To relive this again,
This high point in life,
It can't end.
The stage lights dimmed,
The leaving spoke,
With happy faces on,
But tears in their eyes,
This show is over,
Now go home.

She fell to the floor and wept, and the jar shook
The day ended on a cold note for the cold night
He had her heart sealed in a jar, fragile and trapped
Until he had his moment and let go
With little strength, she had saved it and ran
She had ran until the darkness was unbearable,
As she wept, the jar shivered in her arms
Her dark blue eyes were drenched
And her mind was a dark, narrow corridor.
Her heat prolonged in entrapment,
Torturing her unknowingly with each eternity-like moment.
Finally, she ceased her overwhelming emotions,
Now silent and pondering
Distracted, the jar fell, and shattered at her feet
He’s gone. He’s gone! The words danced in her mind.
Her heart was free, and she was free
She got to her feet, no longer stumbling
And the shattered jar crunched under her feet
There was no more pain.

...Yeah, I know it kinda sucks. Like I said, first attempt. :/

Ok, so I just want to write a little summary to my story that I want to write called A Place of Our Own I'm basically writing this to see if people will like it, and if they do, I'll write more. :)
So anyways, it's about a Hollie, 17 year old girl who has an alcoholic mother and a step father who abuses her as well as her 12 year old sister, Amy. Hollie's been in a 3 year on/off relationship with a heroin addicted boyfriend, Danny. When a close call puts Danny in the hospital, he promises Hollie that he'll quit and they'll find a better life. This causes Hollie to realize that she needs to leave home and find help herself.
So yeah, if you liked this, please comment and there WILL be more. Thanks. :)

~ Chapter 1: Dreams
Love. Unconditional and pure love was there, found in their hearts. Feelings, pure and strong lived from day to day.
But the days were cold. Cold wind froze their dreams.
A child was born.
Dreams, spreading its roots, now slowly fade.
But still live and last in the hearts of the dreamers.
A child wasn't a part of a dream, though.
It wasn't. But love was still there, although destroyed by many issues, it started fading slowly like a smothered flame.
Mother's eyes was full of hope and heart full of love, so pure, so gentle.
She knew. Life won't be milk and honey, though she must be strong.
Looking at her baby girl, happy and sad in the same time, so many thoughts were flying through her head.
So many questions, perhaps a small dose of regret.
She felt sadness inside.
Love was still there, that pure love that kept them alive, though these dreams they both had were somehow far and unreal.
A flame of love was still burning...
