Writing Question

Is this good?

I watch the sky slowly turn pink.
As the sun sets the west,
18 years have come and gone,
did i use them to their best.

No! Truthfully I didn't,
I waisted quite a few,
But what can't be cured must be endured,
My God how very true.

when I weigh the good against the bad,
I know that I have won
For I will have got a wife who cares, My daughters and my sons someday.

So keep your precious jewels,
Your mansions and your land,
I judge them as a trifle,
Not worth a grain of sand.

A life of love and a love of life,
and the health to see it through,
Means more than all such riches,
Believe me friend its true.

This life is like the morning mist,
you see it then its gone,
Its passing is relentless,
Evening, night and then the dawn.

So set aside some time for you,
and use this time to think,
How many things in life can change,
each and every time you blink.

Sit so silent in the firelight,
Watch the tiny sparkles fly,
Oh so silent play the shadows,
As the embers glow and die.

Take your chances grasp and hold them,
As the clock of life ticks on,
if you don’t my friend, I warn you,
Look away and they are gone.

Awrh I'm tearing up and it takes a lot for me to cry, my friend (I didn't cry at Titanic, Boy in the Striped Pyjamas or My Girl, or Marley and Me, but i did cry at Forest Gump ((and its meant to be a comedy)))
this is very true and it makes people realise that they don't know how long they have.

"The clocks are ticking,
Don't stare just leave
