Does anyone else have a bump on their finger from "writing too much"? (HA!)

The middle finger on my left hand has had a bump that makes it look crooked since I was in fourth grade....Nice to know I'm not the only one :)

I do! Because of how I hold my pencil, I have a callous on my ring finger. If I write for a long period of time, it'll get really red and actually gets sore. That is partly the reason I prefer to type.

I've gotten indentations on my middle finger (they say I hold the pencil right but I don't know) from writing for too long before, but they go away after a day or two. Except the last time that happened, which was like two months ago or something, it never went away, I still have the mark this time.

I used to have one on the middle finger of my writing hand, but it was because I held my pencil wrong. I changed how I held my pencil so that it would go away.

I have a big bump on the ring finger of my right hand. After I write for a long time, it gets red, sore and raw. Then it hardens again and feels kinda scaly.

Yes, I have a bump near the left bottom side of my fingernail on my ring finger on my right hand. That's how I write, on my ring finger. Sometimes I write so much it hurts where my fingernail meets the bump.

I've had a bump on my middle finger from the minute I first picked up a pencil when I was 4, it's been there ever since :-]

ahhh yes and it hurts when I write too much..i try to put in a different position but somehow it always manages to get back by the bump hahahahaha I thought I was alone hehehehehe

Every one has one except when they never write. People who don't write often even have one

Yea! I have always had it since 3rd grade when I was into writing. It sometimes hurt when I write a lot.
