HELP ME PLEASE!!!! the future of my book depends on it :D

okay, so i bought this AMAZING new toshiba laptop with windows 7 and microsoft office 2007. thing is, i only have the trial microsoft office 2007, and when I went to work on my book one day it locked me out! it said i needed a product key to validate my microsoft office license. after a while of moping :( i found the product key on the bottom of my laptop, but when I entered it it said my key was invalid. what do i do??!!

do i have to register or create an account or something with microsoft office?? HELP!!! XO

The simplest thing to do is to download OpenOffice (link), which is a free office suite, and then open your .doc file in that. But really, any word processing software should be able to read your office 2007 file.

After that, you might also consider modifying your file associations so that .doc and other file types would then open in Open Office instead of trying to open MS Office.
