where do you guys get your inspiration to write?

i mostly get mine from other books, but it'd be cool to hear where you get yours from.

Umm, you see ordinary things like having a breakfast for a writer are kinda of differnt because you can see something else.

Well, anywhere I think is interesting. Most of my books are FanFiction, so I use some inspiration for that. I also get topics from other books and movies. For my very own topics (not needing any help) I get it from my surroundings: my neighborhood, my home, my school...etc. I mostly like writing books in an animal's point of view, because you never know what they are thinking.

I get my story ideas from music, I'll be sitting on the couch watching a movie and listening to my iPod or playing with my band and an idea will pop into my inactive (at the time) brain. And my life, most of my stories are emo, gory and depressing. That is what I base all of my stories off of.

RPG video games. Because you can create your own characters and stories. Also, they are mostly fantasy, which is what I write.
