Les Bailey at Comic Con
Les Bailey at Comic Con
As the new year begins I've decided to take a close look at what I'm most excited to read. Last year I reviewed a book by new author Les Bailey. The Vampire Game: Discovery. Many of you may remember I gave the new, fresh work high marks. Well, I'm hearing some exciting things about the sequel coming out at the end of this month, by the man closest to the work, other than the author himself, author Randy Jernigan.

To celebrate the emergence of his second title, I've asked Randy to review his friends newest offering.

"I'm a bit picky when it comes to my reading material. Especially fiction. If...

Bailey's tale has been...

The Life and Career of Marie Osmond
The Life and Career of Marie Osmond
I've always thought that a person's taste in reading material can sometimes be a window into their soul.

It was surprising to me to learn that a reserved, pragmatic writer like Randy Jernigan had been drawn into the youthful fantasy world of of witchcraft and wizardry. When I posed the question, 'who are you a fan of?' his answer came quick.

"I'm a fan of anything by J K Rowling. There's something about her style that just sucks me right into the story--and I like that about a writer.

"I didn't start reading her Harry Potter series until after the fourth book, I think it was. I wasn't impressed...
