Friends, family and a few special guests will gather tonight (Sunday, January 29, 2017) at a Salt Lake City venue to celebrate the launch of author Les Bailey's newest offering to the literary world. It's the sequel to his first book, this one titled, The Vampire Game ll: Acquisition.

I first read this book on my Kindle device during a flight home for a vacation and at the urging of a mutual friend of the author's--and honestly, I wasn't able to put the device down. The story was very unique for being a vampire tale. Very well thought out and masterfully written. This story captured me right off the bat and that's what I demand in a novel. I don't often reread a novel, but I've read this story three times now and I've given this book out as gifts.

This publication is also garnering a bit of buzz in the film industry from what I hear. More than one Hollywood producer has shown interest in converting the story into a film, which would please me to no end!

The publication date of The Vampire Game ll: Acquisition will be February 15, 2017 on Kindle and other electronic devices. The paper back version will be available in April.
