Childhood Tramas

I watched a collection of youtube videos with the title above.. About movies or shows that really fucked you up as a kid.. So decided to make my own verison.. Everyone gives lists...

Me first..

JAWS:
For some reason my dad totally thought this was okay for a little kid to watch.. The fact it's on this list proves it wrong.. I don't think it was any particalar part.. Just the Shark itself..

A CHRISTMAS STORY:
Yeah.. Of all things. It was this.. But just the way the bully got beat up. It just really freaked me out as a little kid..

SMALLVILLE SERIES:
Honestly I don't even remember what it was that scared me.. Guess it's too repressed..

KING KONG:
That part where they first arrive on the island and get attacked by those natives.. I repressed this scene for so many years.. But when I recently rewatched the film.. Shit. No wonder it haunted me.. :(

I forgot to add to add that scene from Lord of the Rings where Smeagul almost immediately becomes corrupted by the ring. Later turning into Gollum..

I do not remember what the movie was. I just remember walking in on a movie my dad rented and I walked in on a scene where a baby was born from a woman covered in maggots. Ever since then, I've hated the sight of a million tiny... things wiggling in a group

What I'm not happy to admit is that I was terrified of the Playstation 1. Every time it booted up, I would either run, and I mean RUN, out of the room, or cover my ears and close my eyes just to play Spyro

The playstation thing doesn't sound that weird or unusual to me ngl. Though I used to be scared of the toilets in Wal-Mart, and I have no idea why.

DRESSES:

As a child I was a very small person, and even the extra small dresses would still be too long for me. I would constantly trip and get hurt. Now I'm scared of wearing them even though I've grown relatively big xD

TV SHOWS:

I have no idea why but Courage the Cowardly Dog would give me nightmares because of the different style of animation. Also Scooby doo xD

Oh yeah,

CLOWNS. ...also... spinach... And for some reason Hocus Pocus xD

oh gosh I remember when I first watched the movie Soul Surfer (I think? It's where she gets her arm bitten off by a shark)

I'm not even sure why, but the shark attack scene scared me so bad as a kid (which, looking back on it, wasn't actually that bad at all)
