It just flows better when G(a)linda is shorter. I think it's cause I'm so used to Kristin and Idina.

I think that Glinda being shorter gives a good effect, but I don't mind if she is a bit taller than Elphaba (and she is in the book, so...).

It doesn't make any difference to me either. I don't mind if Glinda is the taller one, nor do I mind if Elphaba is the taller one. It's their actual performance I care about!
