Something to remember before reading the article: It's important to remember that Bill Finger really created Batman. Without Bill, Batman wouldn't have become one of the most popular fictional heroes of all time. However, I have forgiven Bob Kane for taking full credit for Batman's creation, and I don't encourage Batman fans to give him posthumous hate.

A lot of creative people have done amazing work that has permanently changed comics history in addition to inspiring filmmakers to make superhero films. My personal favorite comics creator is Bill Finger. Bill Finger is Batman's primary creator.

If you check out a Batman comic, show or film that came out before 2015, you won't see Bill Finger getting credit for Batman's creation. This is because Bill Finger's contributions were kept a secret from the fans. As a kid, I was a huge Batman fan. I would watch interviews and behind-the-scenes extras that talked about how various pieces of Batman media were made. I also read stories about creating Batman. Despite that, I didn't know that Bill Finger created Batman. It might sound implausible that I didn't know about Bill Finger, but his legacy was kept a mystery. I did occasionally see Bill Finger's name pop up, but I assumed that he was just one of many people that worked on early Batman comics. I didn't realize that he was the person that was truly responsible for bringing Batman to life.

The initial idea to have a superhero called Batman came from Bob Kane. Bob Kane wanted to create a superhero of his own, because of the rising popularity of Superman. However, his vision of a bat-themed character that had blonde hair and wore a red costume didn't work out. Bob went to his friend, Bill Finger, to help out. Bill went on to do just about everything. Bill came up with Batman's design, personality, backstory, and he wrote all of the early Batman stories.

Bill Finger was the writer, while Bob Kane was the alleged artist of the early Batman comics. However, Bob often had artists do the artwork for him. Despite Bill being the writer, he wasn't credited on a single issue of the early Batman comics. The artists that helped Bob draw the artwork were also uncredited.

Bob Kane knew that Batman was becoming a rising star, so he wanted to capitalize on that. With the help of his lawyer father, Bob got a contract made that gave him full credit for Batman's creation. Because of that, Bob was credited as Batman's only creator. Also, the early comics only listed his name. Despite that, Bill Finger worked hard at writing inspiring tales of Batman's heroic adventures.

Bill Finger passed away at the age of 59 in 1974. Due to his life being kept a secret, most people didn't know who he was.

In 1989, fifteen years after Bill Finger's passing, Bob Kane came clean about the situation. He admitted that Bill Finger helped him create Batman. He even admitted that he never wrote a single Batman comic. He claimed that if he could go back in time, he would give Bill credit. In 2015, writer Marc Tyler Nobleman and Bill Finger's granddaughter, Athena, were able to get the comics industry to give Bill Finger credit. "Batman and Bill" was created in 2017 as a documentary that revealed the true story about Batman's creation.

With Bob Kane long gone, I don't wish to disrespect him. Despite everything that he did, I hope that he remains fondly remembered by those he was close to, and I hope that he is resting in peace.

I hope that the answer to who helped Bob Kane draw the Batman comics gets revealed. When it comes to Bill Finger, I hope that he keeps getting more attention and love. Bill Finger was and will always be the most influential hero that the city of Gotham has ever had.

2024's Masters of the Universe: Revolution is a sequel to 2021's Masters of the Universe: Revelation. Revelation was received well by critics, but a lot of Masters of the Universe fans disliked the show. I had a lot of mixed feelings about the series. Revelation was split into two parts. The first part is my least favorite thing to come out of the Masters of the Universe franchise. I enjoyed the second part a lot more, but the series still had a lot of problems. However, I love the Masters of the Universe franchise, so I was cautiously excited for Revolution.

I'm happy to report that Revolution...

Batman: Dark Detective started with a six-issue arc in 2005. As a kid, I often collected random comics when my grandfather and mom took me to the comic book store. However, I managed to collect all six issues in the original story arc. In order to relive fond memories from the past and to bring attention to Batman comics, I will be reviewing each issue in the story arc. The review of the first issue is scheduled to come out on February 1st. The reviews of the other five issues will come out in the days following.

Here's some information to know ahead of time:

Batman: Dark Detective serves as...

2022's The Batman was a film that I really didn't care for. I was so upset by the film that I didn't act as rationally or fair as I should have. I wanted to describe why the film didn't work for me in the most respectful way that I can.

I want to make it clear that if you like the film, that's not a bad thing. In fact, if you had a great time watching the film, I'm glad that you had fun. My intention isn't to force or pressure people to dislike the film as much as I do. My intention also isn't to mock anybody who worked on the film. I may not like Matt Reeves as a director or Robert Pattinson...
