Passing the torch is a very important thing to do when it comes to careers. They say that nothing lasts forever, but by passing the torch down, a legacy can continue to go on. Actors can't have the same roles forever, so it's necessary for them to pass the roles down to new people. Doing this can be risky, because if the new people don't do as good of a job, it can lead to unhappy responses from fans. However, it's important to have trust and faith for the next generation.

The Blue's Clues franchise is one of the best examples I've seen of passing the torch. In 1996, the Blue's Clues franchise began with Steven Burns hosting the series. Steve was loved by people of all ages for his lovable, sweet demeanor. He was considered to be the perfect person to host the Blue's Clues series. From 1996 to 2002, Steve hosted the series. He also starred in 2000's Blue's Big Musical Movie.

Steve loved his fans and the people that he worked with. However, he decided that the fourth season would be his last season as the host. In order to keep the series going, Donovan Patton was brought on as Joe, Steve's younger brother. Donovan Patton's Joe first appeared towards the end of the season. He came to visit the Blue's Clues house for a game of show and tell. In his second appearance, Steve taught Joe how to play Blue's Clues. Blue even made Joe his own notebook.

Joe's third appearance was Steve's last appearance as the host. In that episode, Steve announced that he was going to move out of the house and go to college. He also announced that Joe would be the one to take care of Blue and the other residents of the house. Joe and Steve's friends threw Steve a goodbye party.

Blue's Clues is known for being a very easygoing, happy show. However, Steve's departure was given a brief moment of sadness. As Steve was getting ready to leave, he mentioned how he was going to miss Blue. Blue, who looked sadder than ever before, gave Steve a big hug. Steve's goodbye episode is considered to be the most emotional episode of the series for fans.

While Steve leaving was sad, the episode is more uplifting than it sounds. While it serves as the end of an era for Steve, it also serves as the beginning of Joe's era. Before Steve leaves, he asks the viewers to help Joe find clues because just like him, Joe would need a lot of help. The last thing that Steve did before leaving is thank the viewers. He said, "I'll never forget how you helped me find all those clues. You really are so smart."

In the episode's last scene, Joe is playing with Blue when the phone starts ringing. Steve was the one calling. He wanted to let the viewers know that he was doing okay and that he missed them.

From then on, Joe was the host of the series. Steve was so loved by fans that some of them weren't ready to accept a new host. However, Joe proved himself to be a great host in his own right. He had a lot of the same lovable, wholesome charm as Steve in addition to not feeling like an exact copy of Steve.

Steve leaving the show was a sad moment, but I'm glad that the series didn't end after he left. Joe helped keep the franchise going with heart, optimism and fun. Steve passing the torch down to his younger brother was a wonderful moment that saved the Blue's Clues franchise. Also, it served as the beginning of a close friendship between Steven Burns and Donovan Patton. The two stayed in touch long after their time as the hosts had ended. In fact, the two are still good friends to this day.

In a previous article, I listed off the various DVDs in my Batman collection. A majority of my superhero DVDs are Batman DVDs. However, I do have DVDs of other superhero stuff, so I thought I'd list them off.

Superman

Aside from Batman, Superman is the superhero that I have the most DVDs of. That's probably because Superman is one of my favorite superheroes in addition to being a character that has had more DVDs than most superheroes.

My Superman DVDs include the following:

Superman 2: The Richard Donner Cut

Superman Returns

Superman 5 Film Collection (This DVD set includes the four Christopher Reeve...

The Riddler is one of my all-time favorite villains, because of how well he was played by Frank Gorshin. Frank Gorshin was the very first actor to play a classic villain from the Batman comics. To this day, I think he remains one of the most talented actors to have ever appeared in the Batman franchise. For this article, I'll be listing Frank Gorshin's various appearances in Batman.

Episodes from the original Batman television series that Frank Gorshin played the Riddler in:

1. Hi Diddle Riddle

2. Smack in the Middle

3. A Riddle a Day Keeps the Riddler Away

4. When the Rat's Away the Mice Will Play...

In my previous article, I mentioned how Steve's message for the fans of Blue's Clues inspired me to make a message for Steve. In addition, it has inspired me to make a message for another one of my favorite people. In this case, I have a message for someone very, very special. The person that I'm referring to is my grandfather.

My message for my grandfather:

Hi, Grandfather. When I was younger, you used to pick me up after school and take me to the comic book store. I was a huge fan of superheroes, so the comic book store was my favorite store in the whole world. School was very stressful for...

For the 25th anniversary of Blue Clues, Steven Burns made a video for the fans. In the video, he talked about what he had been up to since he left the series. He also expressed his eternal gratitude to the fans for all the help that they have given him over the years. Steve's video is one of my personal favorite videos of all time. In order to thank Steve, I'd like to share a message of my own that's inspired by his message.

My message for Steve:

Hi, Steve. Do you remember how when I was little, I would watch you and Blue? Back then, I was just learning to walk and talk, so my memories might...

Frozen 3 has been announced. Since I'm obsessed with both Frozen films, I can't wait for Frozen 3. In fact, it's my most anticipated film that's coming out in the next few years. In addition to being excited for the film, I'm hyped to see what dolls they make for Frozen 3. The first Frozen film had a good line of dolls, but Frozen 2 topped it. I would go as far as to say that Frozen 2 has the coolest series of dolls that I've ever seen.

As great as the first Frozen film's dolls were, the selection of characters was a bit limited. The only characters that got dolls were Anna, Elsa, Kristoff...

Adam West was a legendary actor that made a big impact on his fans. He also made a big impact on his co-stars from the Batman television series. For this article, I'll be going over how Adam West got along with them.

Burt Ward

Together, Adam West and Burt Ward were television's original Dynamic Duo. Due to Burt Ward being a young adult at the time, Adam West had a lot to teach his fellow caped crusader. The two became friends and worked together multiple times over the following decades. Burt Ward thought highly of Adam West. His tribute to Adam West was very emotional and sweet.

Note: This article is a sequel to my "The Time I Met Batman" article. I recommend reading that article first.

Back in the day, there were personalized books that parents could order that would insert their kids into the story. In my previous article, I mentioned that there was a personalized Batman book. In addition to there being a Batman book, there was also a book starring Superman and Wonder Woman.

The book was written by Joel Rose.

I will share the contents of the book in this article. I will leave out some sentences for time. The book uses my name, but for this article, I'll refer to myself...

Batman is one of my favorite heroes. There are a lot of reasons why I love Batman, but one reason is because I met him. Yes, Batman and I went on an adventure together. Well, that's sort of true.

Back in the day, there were personalized books that parents could order that would insert their kids into the story. There was a Batman personalized book. It seems like my parents were wise enough to know that I'd love Batman, because I received a Batman book that inserts me into the story.

The book was written by Melissa Peterson.

Steven Burns played Steve, the original star of the original Blue's Clues series. After starring in four seasons and one movie, Steven passed the role of host down to Donovan Patton's Joe because he wanted to focus on other things. For a while, it seemed like he wouldn't come back to the Blue's Clues franchise. However, out of respect to the original crew and his loyal fans, Steven came back for the Blue's Clues reboot that's called Blue's Clues & You!. While Steve is no longer the host, he is involved in the making of the reboot. He helped cast the newest host, Josh Dela Cruz, and has...

What makes Elsa the coolest?
