Absolutely, I find it far more exciting than a common movies these days. Some times I can sit and observe a storm for hours, whereas with a, movie I can get impatient, or feel annoyed. But am perfectly relaxed or feel energized in a good way when watching a thunderstorm, especially when their very active.
I live in the central mid-west in tornado valley (Illinois, USA)so yes we see a lot of wild storms around here, and some can be truly awesome, and even frightening at times.
I especially love it when the lightening creeps across the sky, beautiful.
