When the sun arose early the next morning, I was surprised to find Mossstar already outside. "Uh, Mossstar? What are you doing up so early?" I asked. "A Silver Tiger,"he mumbled,"and a Striped Rock." "Um, what does that mean?" I was puzzled. Why would he mumble such random things?
"A Silver Tiger and a Striped Rock," he said again. "They were in my dream. I wonder if it was a sign." I shook my head. "If it was a sign what would it mean? Does it mean that a silver tiger will pass through? How about some cat will find a striped rock? Maybe you should share this with Mistycloud."
"Yes, I will," said Mossstar, as he padded off. By then, a few cats have already woken up, and have come out of their dens. Including Silverrock. "Okay! Lakebreeze, Boulderstream, Featherleaf, and Fowerstream! Start a patrol to our boarder with ShadowClan. Robinwing, Sootfur, Silverrock and I will go to the boarder with the twolegs," yowled Fernstripe, our Clan's Deputy. "The rest of you can take your apprentices out to training, or you can fish. If you don't have an apprentice, come to me."
"Cricketpaw! Let's go practice some battle moves!" I called across the clearing. "Comming!" a muffled voice called back. A few moments later, Cricketpaw came streaming across the clearing with bits of moss stuck to his back."Hey, Flowerstream, is it okay if I take Willowpaw out to training with us?" I asked my sister. "Sure, no problem,"she said as she left with the patrol.
"Cricketpaw, will you go get Willowpaw for me?" I asked the apprentice. "Okay!" Cricketpaw scurried off to the apprentice's den. Moments later, he came back with the drowsy Willowpaw. "Willowpaw, your mother said that I could take you out training while she went on patrol." "Wha... Flowerstream said... I'm going training with you," Willowpaw replied half-heartedly. "Yep! Come on!" Cricketpaw hurried to the training area, with Willowpaw behind him. We trained until sunhigh, and both apprentices had learned a few more battle moves. I sent the apprentices to clean the elder's den after we were done, and I went to Mossstar's den. "Mossstar? Are you here?" I said.
"Yes, come on in," Mossstar said. I stepped into Mossstar's den. "Mossstar, did you ask Mistycloud about the dream yet?" I asked. "Yes, I did. She said it had someting to do with two of our cats. I was thinking about you and Silverrock. It might be about you two." Mossstar had a glint of question in his eyes. "Is there someting going on between you two?" "N-no," I stammered. "Okay, just keep your eyes open, Tigerstripe," Mossstar said Mischeviously.
I stepped out of Mossstar's den. I was pretty shaken up, about the things that he had said about me and Silverrock.Oh, well. I shook my head. As Mossstar said, keep my eyes open.
