Hatsune Miku to open for Lady Gaga's ARTPOP Ball tour

I hoping that with this plus the obvious success that Mikuopolis was, we're hopefully well on our way to getting more Vocaloid concerts in the U.S. And hopefully these ones can come to my state too!!!

this makes me so happy and then my mood gets ruined when i say people saying lady gaga is ruining miku and the vocaloid fandom

i had one of my friends tell me that people who start liking miku because of this arent real vocaloid fans and ewewew

that said i love both of them and i hope this builds up mikus popularity a lot because im still waiting on an australian concert (bc guess who doesnt have the money to fly to america or japan ha ha..)

^I'm with you 100% on that, I'm really disappointed in the vocaloid fandom to see so many people bashing Lady Gaga. We all hate it when people bash vocaloids, it's music people have different tastes. Not being a real vocaloid fan? Last I checked there was no requirement list to be a vocaloid fan.

I agree as well. Lady gaga isn't ruining miku, they're both amazing! In fact, this could definitely increase the vocalist popularity. People at the concert who never seen or heard vocaloid before will probably be interested.

yeah, and its especially disheartening for me because i had phases for both of them where i wouldnt listen to any other music, and theyre both things i still love!! like a lot of things i was obsessed with when i was younger i dont really care about anymore, but they're two of the three things that i still love.

also i looked at some lady gaga fan reactions, and theres some REALLY racist stuff towards every asian ethnicity so on one hand im glad the vocaloid fandom isnt the only one with some people being whiny babies over this, but its also really gross so thats. something

Really? Wow, actually last night I found vocaloid fans on Youtube comparing Lady Gaga to Miku and saying that Lady Gaga's music is actually copied from Miku. Frankly I kinda wish this concert could just happen, then fandoms can go their separate ways and perhaps both will gain some more open-minded people from the event ^^"

i dont even understand that?? miku doesnt even have a style of music do people not realise how many different people write songs for her

tbh i just think all music fandoms should be able to live in peace, even if they dont agree with each other. like you all have a mutual appreciation for vibrations going near your ear holes, so just accept that other people like different kinds of vibrations.
