Who doesn’t like Spyro? Well, maybe the people who aren’t familiar with him, but err… Well, everyone who knows the purple little dragon has a liking for him. He’s just…I dunno, likable. The younger crowd knows him from the pretty recent Skylanders series and perhaps the less recent The Legend of Spyro series. While the older coots (such as myself, mind you. I even got a cane! :D) know Spyro all too well from his first games by developer Insomniac Games on the Sony PlayStation. And that’s the game I’m going to talk about in this article!

Well, here we are. From one extremely short title to yet another extremely short title, we find ourselves with a game that is actually ten minutes shorter than 198X, and wouldn’t you know it, I enjoy it far more than that other game? Now why is that? Could it be that, despite the smaller budget and less resources, it could create a vastly more interesting story and world? The answer is yes. So let’s talk about Planet RIX-13



The game starts with a nameless, faceless astronaut as he crash lands on a strange planet. Apparently, there were people on the planet, but they are all gone now....

Well, looks like a fun little holiday is right around the corner. That’s right, Day of the Dead. Halloween, that’s for children who go out and eat candy. But Day of the Dead, that’s a real man’s holiday. In all seriousness, I am far from being Mexican. I’m the whitest, pastiest motherfucker around.
