You know… after playing YIIK and Morphies Law, I thought that indie games would stay grounded in some form of reality, with the characters acknowledging what they were looking at. But today’s indie title, is such a strange one, that I don’t even know what to make of it’s world or it’s story. So today, let’s talk about a game that, oddly enough to add to the line of oddities, was developed by Devolver Digital, Pikuniku

So Pikuniku is a game… that much is true. Pikuniku is a game where you play as a little red thing with eyes and legs named Piku as he leaves a cave for the...

Time to jump on the trend and make my own top 20. Now I've played a fair amount of games and it was pretty difficult to get a solid 20 down but I think I've got what I need.

Before we begin, just gonna give a little honourable mention to ICO and The Shadow of The Colossus who, unfortunately didn't make the list.

Now then, let's begin!

#20-Super Mario World
Starting off the list is a fanfavourite and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna killed for it being this low but who cares. This is a very enjoyable game, even if you're not a fan of Mario. There's no real story other Peach being kidnapped but who cares...

This is the ultimate source for your video game vocabulary!

IGN: A biased, unhelpful resource where PS3 ports of the same quality of the 360 version get lower scores.

Gamespot: Another gaming resource that underrates countless games.

Big Rigs Over the Road Racing: Truly revolting slop coded in 2 hours by a drunken hobo.

Halo 3: The 360 system-seller.

Crysis: Succeeded because of it's graphics.

Gears of War: The only video game that truly influences kids to commit violence. That, and GTA.

Killzone 2: Also succeeded because of it's graphics.

n00b: A guy who really thinks they can blow up your tank with...

I never did play Octodad, a game that was said to be unique, if frustrating in its own way. Neither did I play I Am Bread, also frustrating with it’s gameplay. I never understood the appeal of games that try to anger you unless there is a unique spin to it or something good. And I think waiting for that paid off, because today, we’ll be talking about one of the funniest written indie games I’ve played, Manual Samuel

Manual Samuel follows the tale of Samuel obviously, a trust fund baby who has never had to work a day in his life and has had everything practically handed to him. That...

Wassup everyone. I was playing Kingdom Hearts 2 the other day and I really enjoy that game although that HD Final mix collection continues to elude me T.T But I shall find it one day!

Anyway I thought I would make a list of my favourite worlds in Kingdom Hearts 2 and unlike Kingdom Hearts 1 where I disliked quite a few worlds I loved almost every world in Kingdom Hearts 2 so I'm here to rank them from least favourite to favourite.

Of course this is just my opinion your favourite will be different to mine and I'm sorry if it's not yours. Also yes, there is spoilers so if you haven't played then...

Final Fantasy 7 - Cloud: Okay, everyone, now once were inside, we will have to face an large amount of enemies that come out of nowhere, for some reason, is everybody ready
Everyone: No

Enemy: Boo, mother fucker
Cloud: Quick, everyone, lets kill him. Barret. Tifa. Go
Barret: Alright, take this (Shoots and misses) Shit
Tifa: Okay. Here I go (Punches but misses) What the fuck. How stupid does someone have to be to miss a punch. They enemies aren't even moving
Enemies: Okay, our turn
Tifa: Quick, while they're attacking, lets kick their asses
Cloud: Tifa, we can't...

Have you ever played Dark Souls and went onto the PvP that the community creates? I layed Dark Souls III and tried out the PvP and had way more fun with it than literally anything that was put into the single player story. I really enjoyed it and wondered if there was any game with combat like this that was just PvP. And wouldn’t you know it, there was. Not with weapons, of course, but you take what you can get. So let us talk about Absolver

So Absolver is about… uh… monks with masks or… something… Hang on, let me pull up a Wikipedia page. Alright, so the game followed a group...

Well here comes the briefest article of In-Indie I will probably ever write simply because of the game being very simplistic. Have you ever wanted to play indie games on your phone? Me neither and continuing to purge playing games on mobile from my general area, I decided to play this mobile classic once it came to Switch. And today, we will be talking about Reigns.

Reigns starts out in the year 1000. You are a king who is destined for great things, only though you come from a cursed lineage, a curse that will continue for a thousand years. During those thousand years, you are tasked with...

(Note: If you are at all offended with these jokes, then good. That is exactly what I wanted to do. However, if you wish to lynch me, I can't blame you) Tonight on Fux News, a secret is found. Do you wanna know what is the biggest problem in the world. It’s not massive violence, it’s not disease, its not world hunger. This thing is so terrible, it makes human trafficking, child abuse, and that Jack and Jill movie with Adam Sandler look like a breeze. I’m talking about video games. Let me give you a little history on video games. back in 1972, the devil himself, Nolan Bushnell, rose from...

Well this is going to be a game that is really hard to talk about. I saw this game on the Switch several times when I was looking for a unique indie game. But when I wanted to give it a shot, everyone said that it was a horrible game, so I put it off. But then I saw people talking about how good it was. I think what scared me off of it originally was the price tag for it. That was until it was on sale for ninety-nine cents. After that, I had to buy it, for my own curiosity. And so, today, let us talk about Plague Road

In a morbid story narrated by Jim Sterling, you play as The Doctor,...

So, In-Indie, the first part of it being done. Gotta say, despite having little to no time for big triple A games, it’s a lot of fun to check out all these indie titles and see what they’re capable of. So, every time we finish ten reviews of an indie game, and are ready to start a new part of this whole thing, we will rank the games, talk about news if it is available to us, and then see what indie games are coming out and what to get excited for. So let us start ranking these games from best to worst

The Least Best

Now, there are a lot of things that make a game. However, what about those things that nobody likes, yet, no matter what, you see them EVERYWHERE! Yeah, you know, those things that every time you see them, you just lose all the fun that was once in the game. Well, today, I am going to talk about the Ten Things In Games I Hate. Now, remember that this is my list, so if there is a thing in games that you hate, but isn’t on this list, either I have no problems with it, or I find these problems worse. Now, with that said, lets start the list

Man, the fighting game community is lame. They make fun of Super Smash Bros Melee all the time, all they care about is some guy from an old fighting game called Fatal Furry, and they never shut up about the Arks System. Why would anyone care? What is this dumb indie game? Divekick? Sounds like a dumb move. Where’s the true indie game title, Up+Smash? That’s all I care about!- Where am I going with this joke again?

Divekick, an indie title made by fighting game fans for fighting game fans. And people who buy weird indie games cause they have dumb internet web series. What a coincidence....

A lot of video game characters have a lot of occupations. Much like real life. However, there are those video game characters who really suck at their jobs. So, today, I am going to talk about the ten video game characters who are not very good at their jobs. Now, the rules are simple. Only one game per franchise. However, for one game in particular, I am excluding my play before put rule, just so I can put it here. Now, with all that said, lets start the list.

What remains of couch-multiplayer:
What remains of couch-multiplayer:
When I first started writing drafts for this article I was going to write about the next-gen consoles leaving out good ol' couch; but after mulling over it, I came to the conclusion that both online and couch multiplayer are equally in use, though they are separated by the console boundaries.

Recently I've noticed that a lot of FPS's seem to be online-multiplayer only and that there is no couch-multiplayer mode in these games. "What a pain" I thought to myself, 360 controller in hand, sat next to a Wii owner. Clearly we would not be playing this game together any time soon. My miserable-cynical-git...

Oracle of Seasons, one of the most frustrating games in my memory but also one of my all-time favourites.
It occurred to me recently that modern gamers are.... wimps. I'm not excluding myself here.

Whenever a gamer is punished for failure, such as a lives system they moan, they whine and they throw their controllers and say "games shouldn't have these features". The fact is that we are spoilt. A lot of next-gen games give players cheap thrills, immediate fun with no long-term fun or big hills to climb over.

The lives systems and game over screens give a game violent ups and downs, but I believe in some cases the pros outweigh the cons and I'd hate something so marvellous as this to be wiped from...

Well this is never making it on the front page, not like In-Indie was ever on the front page in the first place. Other than horrible gaming journalists not understanding how indie games work, another thing people say is how unfair they can be. Cuphead is unfair because your character only has three hearts on them. Hotline Miami is too hard because enemies can kill you in one hit. Slime Rancher is too hard because I can’t feed my Slimes in time. But there is a game out there that I can say with slight certainty that it can feel really unfair at times. A game so difficult that it already has...
