Note: All tracks available at Amazon MP3 Store for 0.99. I use Blood Brothers - Original London Cast Recording for "The Devil's Got Your Number" and "Somewhere That's Green" I use London Revival Cast Recordings for "Close Every Door" and "Gethsemane." For Point of No Return I use the 1993 Studio Cast Recording version. I used Original Broadway Cast recordings for "Will I" and "You've Got to Be Carefully Taught" For Tomorrow I use Musical Creations Studio Musicians with vocals. Using the tracks I pointed out is crucial that you use the specific tracks I told you about because of the fact that CDs only hold 1.2 hours of music and that is how long this tribute is. almost ALL songs have at least one line or word that doesn't fit with "Flowers in the Attic."

AFTER YOU LISTEN: ANALYSIS QUESTIONS: ANSWER IN DETAILED COMPLETE SENTENCES

1. You may have noticed that songs are arranged according to the plot. Why did I choose to do this? Is it more effective? Why or Why not.

2. What aspect of "Flowers in the Attic" does "You've Got to Be Carefully Taught" refer to? What does it say about V.C. Andrews' views?

3. Is there a song that talks about ALL the characters at one time? Which is it and why.

4 What part of the story do "When I Grow Up" and "Will I?" tell together? Why is this part important to the story of "Flowers in the Attic"?

5. Who does "I Dreamed a Dream" from "Les Misérables" belong to? Cathy or Corrine? Explain.

6. Is there any song that could apply to another book(s) in the series? Why? Can you think of any Broadway/West End songs that apply to another book(s) in the series that does NOT apply to "Flowers in the Attic" Explain.

7. Is there a theme that ALL the songs share? if so what is it?

8. Did "Flowers in the Attic" hold the message of "No one is Alone" for you? If not, what message did it hold? If any.

9. What do the plots of ANY of these musicals have to do with "Flowers in the Attic? Which ones? Why?

10. Some of these songs have sexual overtones, but because of their placement in the tribute those overtones do NOT apply. Which ones are they? Given their place in the tribute what do they mean. Why?

11. Why did I choose the song "Beauty and the Beast" to represent Cathy and Chis' relationship? Is using a song from a song from a kids movie inappropriate? Why or why not?

12. There is one song that goes at the end of the tribute AFTER "For Good" What is it? Why? (HINT think about the theme of the songs and "Flowers in the Attic" TOGETHER, and the song comes from one of the musicals already listed.)
