Original poem by me (please excuse if its a bad one but im new at this)

Climbing up these castle walls
where the light of my candle falls
pulling me deeper into your room
filled with sorrow, filled with gloom

Making but a tiny sound
the wind from your lips blows the candle out

Sitting on top of the bed,
on your unused pillow i rest my head

Your cold pale hand, those bright red eyes
pulling me in and i would never revive
longing and waiting, what takes you so long?

The words that you answer with make me smile

Then you lean in, baring those teeth

Sinking into me without a chance to scream
The red slowly dripping
The moon makes it gleam

without any warning you stop and pull away

And kiss me until my mouth tastes of my own blood
my eyes start to flutter

im slipping away

There is no mercy, i can not lie. for it was my choice to die.

On your unused pillow i rest my head
As the sun comes out we go to bed.

The next morning was a Saturday so I slept in late.
And when I finally did get up it was already 11 o’clock.
“Mornin’ sleepyhead,” My mom smiled.
“Hi,” I yawned.
”Why don’t you go outside, it’s a beautiful day,” she suggested.
“Where’s Colin?” I asked.
“Over his friend’s house, now go outside!” She exclaimed.
“Ok fine,” I muttered and headed upstairs to change.
Since it was the middle of October I decided to wear a pair of skinny jeans and a purple and white tank top and sandals.

All this talk about vampires, but what the heck is a vampire anyway? The definition has changed so much over time, that what once was considered a vampire is now called something else. The original European vampires were more like what we would call zombies today. Vampires have been based on demons and ghoulish spirits and reanimated corpses.
