Upcoming Movies Question

Rant

Warning: Strong opinions are expressed in this review.

When I went to see Toy Story 3 and Despicable Me, the previews were the same. And all the movies that the previews were advertising looked terrible. Well, Tangled looks OK, and Megamind seems worth it, but Smurf and Kitty Galore look like an insult to my intelligence. Maybe I'm just taking these too seriously, but still. Previews are supposed to make their movies look GOOD.

The trailer that really got to me was Alpha and Omega. I attached it incase you haven't seen it. I know you shouldn't judge a movie by it's, uh, trailer, but this seems like it's going to be freakin' horrible.
Wayyy to cliche. And predictable.
Just by watching the trailer, I can tell you the whole storyline:
Guy wolf and girl wolf of different social rankings get stuck in situations that force them to work together, guy turns out to have unexpected skills the girl didn't know about, and after a misunderstanding or two, they fall in love. Yawn.
And also, what's up with all the potty and sex jokes? The potty jokes are too immature to get the whole audience interested, and the sex jokes are so obvious that the kids will be questioning their parents afterwards. And the animation looks second class and outdated. And finally, why would they want to make a wolf look sexy in a kid's movie?

I love ranting! =D

Do you agree or disagree? No hate comments - I'm just a very opinionated person. =]

well i totally agree. alpha and omega seems pretty lame but i guess its for younger children. not sure why they would put in suggestive themes in it but i guess they did it to make it seem "funny" to a certain extent. :)

This looks pretty ridiculous……..of course it is a cartoon about "repopulating." Children's movies have seriously gone down hill. This is a story which has been told time and time again. If they wanted to tweak it by making about wolves…maybe they should have included some other alterations as well.
