While staring out the schools windows I sigh and stared out at the horizon. The sun shimmers onto the school making it look so bright i had to look away. I wondered why ive been feeling this way, so... dead.
The lunch bell rang, making me jump so high that I hit my knee on the desk, i cryed in agony.
"Orihime are you alright?" Ichigo walks towards me pushing back his spiky orange hair that use to make my heart soar to eternity. But it doesn't, now i dont feel anything, just a dead shell, ever since we came back from Hueco Mundo...
"Yeah im alright, Ive always been clumsy," I laugh half-heartly.
"Well thats good, it seemed painful," Ichigo's face suddenly went serious, "Orihime.." Ichigos face loomed closer making me feel alittle unsteady. "Orihime, you seem to act different, did anything happen at Hueco Mundo? Did Ulquiorra harm you?" My heart sunk as Ulquiorra's name escaped Ichigos lips. Somehow deep inside I felt warmth and feeling so powerful I felt like exploding!!! Almost like that celery cake i made months ago. "Orihime, you dont have to worry now, he's gone. Remember the last time we saw him was when he turned to ash, remember?"
"Y-yes, I do remember." Its more like i remember every detail that day. Ulquiorra's body turning to ash as he reaches his hand out to me, and mine for him only touching ash as our fingers connect. I still remember that day as if it was yesterday... "Sorry Ichigo, but you have nothing to worry about, everythings fine, Im fine," I pick my face up and force my lips to make a smile. "Now if you would excuse me i would like to have lunch now."
"Really? What are you having?" Ichigo steps back as i take out my bag."Peanut-butter, Jelly, tomato, chips, sandwitch with my special ingredient Honey, salt , and mustard" I take a bite out of the delicious sandwitch and was about to share some to ichigo but realized he was gone. Seemed like he was in a hurry?
I take a seat next to Tatsuki and offered some of my sandwitch but decline. "How can you even eat that without throwing up?"
I thought awhile, "well when i ate my celery cake I-"
"No, no, no, dont even say it, I am eating here you know? I dont want to hear what your puke looks like!" She sticked out her tongue in disgust, so i just shook it off and continued eating. I felt Tatsuki looking at me and mumbled, "what?"
Tatsuki shook her head and laughed, "You shouldnt eat with your mouth full, Orihime" ,She gave me a napkin and grumbled, " If that Chizuru wasnt absent today, today would have been her day!" I wiped my mouth and knew something else was in her mind. "Orihime what did Ichigo say to you?"
"Oh that? Ichigo said what I was having for lunch and so I showed him my sandwitch." Tatsuki mummbled something I didnt quite hear clearly, but before i could asked, she waved it out and wore a painful expression, making my arm grow goosebumps, "Orihime, whats wrong? You've been acting different, ever since you came back from America, did something happened?" I thanked Rukia for replacing her memories with me going to America but I know myself that i am no good with lies, especially to Tatsuki. And when i was about to say that Aliens took my grandma away for brain experiments the bell rang and everyone went back to there seats. Saved by the bell. As the teacher came in to introduce a new transfer student I thought about good lies to tell Tatsuki like: 'I was a doctor and was the only one to save the young mans life, but as i did the surgery he didnt make it... or.' But I didnt make it far until i saw him.
I gasped. I felt myself shaking, wondering if this is just a dream,and that if it is, WAKE UP!!! His shining emo, black hair reflects the light as i look upon him. The hair cut shy over the eyes and to his shoulders, his skin so creamy and pale its like vanilla, ice cream. And the only person that has that look and can make my heart pound out of my chest is him, Ulquiorra Schiffer, my Ulquiorra. Ulquiorra the fourthed, strongest Espada, the one that kidnapped me to Hueco Mundo for my powers, the one that put me in a prison and took care of me from the other espadas, and the one and only man that turned to ash while fighting Ichigo, disappearing along with my heart. THAT Ulquiorra.
I gasped and turned to Ichigo who looks as white as snow, to Uruyu who looks troubled, and to Chad whos just staring out into space. I cant believe it and i won't!!! I use all whats left of my strengh to pick up my head to see his face and notice that the only things that are missing are his helmet and the tear strokes under his eyes, but nothing different. Everything looks the same but i wonder why i kept looking at his eyes. The green eyes of perfections and feeling a whole form in me with so much yearning.
Our eyes meet. It felt like the world stopped moving and everyone disappeared for only those two seconds for us to share. Only then that he turned to the teacher to asked visit the principal, and he went out the door that my heart beated its own course again. I turned to Ichigo for an explaination but Ichigo just looked looking confused and in fury. I then knew that this weird, unexplainable feeling should be ignored for i knew it meant trouble.
