Twilight owns!! Harry Potter's good but nothing can beat Twilight.

I've never read Harry Potter... so yeah

As much as I like Twilight, it will never beat Harry Potter.

Well, we all know the answer to this one. Twilight! Really. I haven't actually read the Harry Potter series, condemn me for it later, but I think even so Twilght easily excels.

i love them both...but right now twilights my fav. it changes every time i read one or the other:)

i agree with rosangie. HP isn't comparable. Twilight is AMAZING, but Hp will go down with books like LotR and Narnia series.

Stephanie has a great imagination, but people who create books like hp, lotr, and Narnia, give sooo much mroe than just a story. they put time and thought into every word that they write. They make an entire world, with a history and a future, they come up with untouched ideas, and make them into the most fabulous things in the world.

There are soo many things throughout the HP books, that nobody thinks about.... that makes JK a better author an SM, i HATE comparing them, because SM is still a really great Author, but the idea that EVERY character in HP books, has a name with a mythological or latin type meaning, they have that name for a reason, theres numbers put in there that make everything connect.....


i don't knwo how to explain it withou putting way mroe thought into it... but i think HP is on a whole different level, and SHOULDN't even be compared, not because Twilight is bad, because i LOVE the books, but because there way more different than people give credit for.

i've read hp from book 1 to 3, but i didn't really feel the urge to read the next books, still it is an amazing book. The two books are never to be compared (in terms of content and amazingness)... BUT unlike Harry Potter, i've dreamed about twilight almost evry night and the story swepts my heart that i just can't get over it. And another is that i join such spots and add comments that i can't even imagine myself for doing so before.

I love both. But I agree with JamieJean. Harry Potter is like a completly different world!!

I'm not entirly sure, but I'm leaning toward Twilight right now. I practicly grew up on Harry Potter and love it, so it's really hard for me to choose.

Twilight is okay. Its not the best. I think HP is better because JK Rowling really created this world, this beautiful fantasy world with plots that were so well sewn together. It was full of brilliance. Total brilliance. Many people found it boring because they didn't bother to actually try to comprehend it. Most people like the love story type thing blah blah blah. Frankly I find the storyline for twilight, kind of, weak... But see, HP wasn't just a series like Twilight. It was more. It had everything. If you really took the time to actually understand the books and re read them, you'd appreciate them just as much as most of you love twilight. And no offense but twilight isn't as great as it looks. I thought when I was first going to read it that, oh, this looks like a really good book series, yet, since i read hp before twilight, i felt a little disappointed. It wasn't the OMG i was expecting. Its a good book-decent enough but, don't get me wrong but i think some people are a little melodramatic when it comes to just how good this book is.

Come on! Harry potter is much more well-written novel than twilight! And the harry potter movies are far better than twilight movie!

So you're just going to assume that Twilight is better, even though you haven't read what is probably the best fantasy series of our generation.

In what way is Twilight better than Harry Potter? Can someone please explain? I've given my reasons a million times over at the 'Harry Potter vs Twilight' spot, and I've yet to see a good pro-Twilight reason. Maybe because there's more Twilight fans here, I'll be able to get a decent one. Anybody?
