As they explained in the books...its not normal for large groups of vampires to live together...most vampires probably wont convert to just drinking animal blood and converting to animal blood is what lets the Cullens have such strong feelings for their family...not how Carlisle feels for Esme...or how Emmett feels for Rosalie..but how Esme feels for her "children" and how the "children" feel for their parents...

The Denali Clan are already considered part of the Cullen Coven, and that Southerner (his name escapes me right now) he fell in love with Kate & joins their clan which means he has to entertain the idea of adopting their vegetarian lifestyle. I would harbour a guess that with such creatures, it would be harder for them to give up their thirst for human blood lifestyles more than the thought of all co-habitating together. Vampires tend to be unspeakably wealthy, so they can purchase islands & castles & mansions galore to house their entire families. So its not impossible for them to all live together. And as the Cullens have displayed their merged abilities so amazingly in Breaking Dawn, it would make them a very daunting clan to cross. I'd say other vampires would WANT to join them simply because they stood up to the Volturri & survived to tell the tale = no other clan or creature has ever survived trial by Volturri. Also bear in mind the whole Renesmee & Jacob future is still untold, so the possibilities are endless. I'd also imagine Ben & his wife Tia joining them at some century down the road as his 'coven father/creator' only created him for his own services & purpose, so he's bound to want to break away from such a controlling patriach & Carlisle's compassion, Esme's love, Edward's sincerity, Emmett's strength, Rosalie's passion, Jasper's camaraderie, Alice's insight, Bella's courage & Renesmee's uniqueness - truly appeals to him. Whats not to like? I'd join them too! lol
