I know he knows better than to continue fighting, especially since he now knows he's done everything he could. That's all he wanted anyway - to try and even out the playing field. Bella still chose Edward and I think Jacob accepts that now. Jacob deserves better anyway.

At the end of Eclipse it seems like Jacob will have his own story coming so...I think he will imprint on someone more suited for him, his soulmate. That's one reason i was't too happpy with Bella and Jacob because he would probably end up breaking her heart anyway...like Leah......=)

im not sure bcuz stephenie has already played the boys fighting over bella card so i dnt think she would do it again in the 4th book on the otherhand she gave jake the personality where he wont quit til hes dead... so we'll just have 2 c wht happens

wether he respects her choice he will fight till the end of the world to prove he is better and that he loves her too much to just give up and lie down...

Well, on the one hand, I think he probably will fight, purely on the 'not wanting her to become a vampire' front. On the other, I also think he's likely to imprint on someone at some point in the book, and that should distract him a little. I really hope he backs off, but it's not really in his nature...

I think he will fight for her. I hate Jacob because he doesn't understand how to respect the boundaries of Bella and Edward's relationship, so I think he will stubbornly fight for her because of his own stupid nature. Gah, I hate that kid.

I think he ran to kill Edward and had to leave his consience (sp?) behind, and then when he cant kill him he'll just take the head off and run... lol funny images...

I am not sure of his decision (like Alice and not being able to see the futre with werewolves involved ) I am blind. He changes his mind and is unsure of things. He is a fickle character. And anyway Stephanie Meyer is his conscience and his mind. So I am a blind girl (vamp)!!!!!!!!

Totally agree with MDzikowicz. I am like Alice. I am blind on what Jake will decide. If he is respectful and really loves Bella (but I don't know who in this earth would), he will choose not to fight. Besides, he deserves better. I know my username may throw you Jake fans off, but i respect Jake. But don't get me wrong, I still love Edward way more than Jake. Anyway, I don't really know what Stephenie will decide.
