The movies going to suck if Roberts in it, he honestly looks like a drug attic and i don't think thats a good example for the age group that are going to be watching the movie in the first place even if he really isn't. but i bet he is. Beside other than that, he just doesn't fit the part at all and who ever picked him to play Edward Cullen is deeply disturbed and made a terrible choice. GASPARD ULLIEL IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO!!!! We just think that Robert will do a good job as Edward or we're giving him a chance until we see him in the movie. Personally I like him, I think he will do a great job as Edward. He's read the books, so he should know Edward's mannerisms, and he's a great actor. Just because he doesn't look like the Edward you had in mind doesn't mean that he's a bad choice. Edward is a fictional characters, so like neeki said, he's going to look different to everyone. posted over a year ago.

You can't judge him until the movie. 2nd of all Robert was chosen no one else is going to be Edward, so get over it and move on. Even though I love Gaspard, he is French for one thing so he lives on a whole other continent and from the looks of the movie its gonna be low budget, so someone from France wouldn't be in it unless they wanted to be paid poorly. And also he's to old to play Edward according to Summit. So stop being mean about Robert. Really, while I hate to criticize, some of the people running round the net flaming Robert at every turn could grow up a bit. Stop, look at the work he's doing on the role, look at the changes he's made in his appearance, look at the fantastic things the rest of the cast are saying about him and then, if you still don't like him, yell at your pillow or something.
