Best friend or Little brother:D

He's noticeably very protective of those he loves, so maybe as an older brother...I'm a year younger and almost as weak as Bella (I'm waayy weaker), so maybe it would work :)

Well he's too annoying to be my best friend, so I'd like him to be my sibling - you can be annoyed by him, be angry with him, hate him. Much more things than if he'd be your BBF.

I would actually choose 'couple' and 'best friend'. I think if Bella actually reciprocated with Jacob's feelings for her, he wouldn't be much of a jerk like most of the Twifans think he is. :) I do think that he's a really nice guy. He's actually more fun and interesting than Edward. xP
