If he was selfish, he wouldn't even care what happened to Bella. Edward is a amazingly caring person I mean vampire.

I'm not sure... certainly not later in the series, but in the first book, he made pretty much the most selfish choice in the entire series...
he chose to be with Bella, even if it meant putting her in danger, and keeping her from a normal life.
He didn't know it was going to work out as well as it did, but he chose to risk it anyway. That's pretty selfish.

However, as I said earlier, he's not selfish later in the series :)

well, its not that i do think he isnt, it's just his right of mind, and yes in a sense he was being selfish, but not in a bad way. Plus if u have read midnight sun, it seems more like desperateness rather than selfishness

Well first of all. Everyone is selfish. However I chose 'No' because his more selfless. Kateliness2 does have a point. But he wasnt the only one who made the decision to be with Bella. Bella made the decision to be with him too. So it goes both way. And in Midnight Sun you read more about Edward's struggle and he wanted to give Bella a choice.

Edward is not selfish he is simply selfless remember he thinks less of his self because he does not like what he is . A Vampire. but not like he hates it like rosalie. i agree sweet twilight bella chose to be with him. besides hes not up in every ones face gloating IM A VAMPIRE!!!!! NA NA NA NA BOO BOO geez. Its Simply a way of his own and if he wasnt like that there wouldnt be this famous book
