I turned my back on her and stormed out of the room. I walked down the hall and went into my bedroom slamming to door as I entered. I didn’t cry. I was to angry for that. Alice was forced to cut the shopping trip short after six calls from my mother.
“Get home now!” she demanded. “You shouldn’t be out in your condition.”

“I’m fine, mother,” I replied. “I’m not over exerting myself. Alice is doing all the shopping. I’m just sitting on a bench.”
That wasn’t exactly a lie. Alice was doing all the shopping as she was paying for it. I wasn’t sitting on a bench because there were no benches in a department store. I was in fact holding a little black dress up against me while looking in the mirror with my cell phone tucked...

The floor feels cold against my feet. My thoughts going back to my previous actions. Passing out in the hospital, throwing up at my father-in-laws home. Could I really be, no no it is not possible. I finally focused on her eyes, the fear showing everywhere on my face. "Edward," was all I could get out.

I watched as Bella's face tried to figure out what was going on. She took a few gasping breaths before she started to fall, Jacob swearing loudly as he tried to catch her.
