Mainly because Smeyer rewrote mythology I mean vampires SPARKLING and werewolves changing into werewolves whenever they want?! I also don't see why Edward even likes Bella! Because she smells nice! And I won't even begin on grammar! Maybe people just like it because there arent very many popular new love storys.
