It's a worldwide debate that happens every single day: Edward or Jacob?
I wish I could pick a side. I am strongly on the fence about this one. Edward, the beautiful, sparkly, loving vampire or Jacob, the hot, restless, young werewolf. Seriously, are we supposed to pick?
To help myself (and probably a lot of you), I have decided to compare the options. Please, read, and tell me after you're done if you can decide either.
Edward- He cares. Though it sounds cliche, it's true. He would do anything ever at any time ever to protect Bella. He nearly killed himself once while in the process. So, yes, he cares. But maybe a little too much.
Jacob- He cares, too. He is willing to risk himself, maybe not as wholeheartedly as Edward, but he does nonetheless. He allows Bella to have fun and be a little reckless, but he is always there to fix her if she breaks.
Edward- He is centuries old. Now, this may considered to be either a good thing or a bad thing. Let's say, for argument's sake, that it's good. He has had time to process his feelings and really learn about himself. He knows exactly why he loves Bella, which we can all admit, is super romantic.
Jacob- He is young. He hasn't had much experience with romantic feelings and relationships. But that is part of what makes him appealing. Everything is new and exciting and nothing has been decided yet which leaves every option open to him. He is still learning how to love, and that's a good thing.
Edward- The Volvo. That's it. Does anything else need to be said?
Jacob- He can fix any automobile and make it faster and better than before. I don't know about the other females of the world, but that's hot.
Edward- The whole vampire thing. It may be a little creepy and scary at times, but being immortal also makes him beautiful. A big part of any relationship is physical attractiveness. And Edward is mighty fine. Along with his good looks, however, comes the instinctual need to kill. Could Edward really last a lifetime wanting Bella and not being able to kill her?
Jacob- Werewolves are hot. Literally. But that's about the only bad thing. Well, that and the wolf part. Does Bella really want her next boyfriend to be her next dog, too? Besides, with his new internal temperature going off the charts, he is pretty much required to walk around with his shirt off at all times. Not a bad deal.
Edward- The Cullens. They are about as protective as Edward himself. They all are willing to risk their lives to save Bella. But should they have to have that burden?
Jacob- The Pack. They are just a big ball of fun. There's not a one of those boys that can't have a good time. Bella would be laughing all of the time.
I now ask you to decide. Edward or Jacob? Be sure that you weigh all options. There are a lot of good qualities and characteristics in both of them. In the words of Steven Tyler: You can't always get what you want. But you can get one hot guy or another. So really, no matter who you pick, no one will ever lose.

Now EW.com has learned that little 9-year old Mackenzie Foy is inches away from signing on to play Renesmee, Edward and Bella’s vampire/human love child that’s a central role in the final installment of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. It’s not yet clear how the diminutive actress, who’s appeared in one episode each of television shows FlashForward and ‘Til Death, will portray the character who ages a full 17 years in only seven. Sources have suggested that director Bill Condon will employ similar digital effects to those used by David Fincher in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, where Foy’s face would be digitally transferred onto the face of a younger child. It’s also probable that the studio will hire a younger child in some capacity, too.
