All This Time

He held her close as her head lay on his shoulder. He walked over to me and Adria lifted her head.

"Adria, this is Bella." He told her. "Can you say hi to Bella?"

She nodded and smiled. "Hi,Bewha."

I couldn't help from breaking out into a smile. "Hi, Adria. You are very smart."

"She get's it from Edward." Esme beamed behind him. "She talks all the time. Just as he did."

"It's cute when Adria does it, but with Edward it was just anoying!" Alice laughed.

"Thank you, dear sister." Edward's smile was full of scarcasum.

"Bella?" Esme called for me. "Are you staying for dinner?" She asked.

"She already knows everything, Mom." Edward told her. "She actually told me she knew. And she did. She knew everything."

"I know." Esme smiled. "I talked to Athena today."

"You know my mom?" I gasped.

"Since I turned." She nodded. "I must say, you are even more beautiful than she." I blushed. "Don't tell her I said that." She giggled.

"Your secret is safe with me." I laughed and held up my hand in a scout's honor.

"We have to feed Adria so if you are hungry, I would be more than happy to cook you something."

"That would be great." I smiled. "Thank you." Edward wrapped an arm around my waist and smiled.

"What?" I whispered.

"Just wait." He smiled at me.

Adria squirmed out of Edward's arms and tottled toward Alice. She placed her hand on her cheek and Alice smiled. "Maybe you should ask her yourself."

Adria shook her head "no".

"Alright fine. I will ask her. But you have to take her." Alice told her with a sturn smirk.

Adria smiled in responce and nodded. She clasped and un clasped her hands again and again for Alice to pick her up.

Alice pulled Adria to her and walked over to me. "Bella, Adria would like to know if you want to see her room?"

"I would love to see your room, Adria." I smiled to her.

"Otay." She smiled and gracefully jumped out of Alice's arms and onto the floor.

I gave Edward a puzzled look but he waved it off with a look that told me he would explain later.

Adria took my hand, led me up the stairs, and turned a door nob, using her full body to push it open before dissapearing in the doorway.

I laughed at her egerness and followed to the doorway, gasping at all the pink.

"Wow." I whispered "That's alot of pink."

He chuckled beside me. "Yes." He agreed. "Yes it is. I never say thank you enough to Alice."

"Adria. I think your room is beautiful." I smiled at her and walked over to her.

"Aunt Awice and Daddy did it." She smiled.

Hearing her call Edward "Daddy" made my stomach to something very weird, but nothing that wasn't unpleasnt.

"Well, did you tell your daddy thank you for such a beautiful pink bedroom?"

She smiled and nodded.

I whispered in her ear. "I think you should go give him a big kiss on the cheek."

She giggled and ran to him. He scooped her up in his arms and laughed when she planted her lips on his cheek. "Thank you, Princess."

"Wewcome." She laughed with him. "Bewha told me to."

"Hey!" I laughed. "You just ratted me out! Now Daddy is going to get me."

She laugh loudly. "Get hu, Daddy, get hu."

"Now you're feeding me to him!"

"How about we both get her." Edward asked Adria.

"Otay." Adria smiled and jumped out of Edward's arms.

"It's on now." Edward growled playfully.

"Oh, no." I rolled my eyes laughing. "I'm so scared of Daddy and his little princess."

Adria started chasing me and then Edward.

I picked up Adria and held her back to me. "I will tickle her." I threated Edward.

"No!" Adria laughed. "No! Daddy stop!"

"Not my princess!" Edward gasped. "Give her to me! I beg of you...ith."

I had to laugh loudy. "Then thou shalt not tress pass of the sacred personal bubble...ith."

"You have my oath Evil Queen." He smirked.

"Thou did notith just call me the Evil Queen. i shall now tickel thou young daughter as punshment!" I had Adria on the bed, tickling her sides as she squirmed.

"Daddy!" She yelled inbetween bursting laughter. "Help Daddy!"

"I will help you dearest daughter!" He picked up a stuffed animal and hit me in the back.

I stopped abruptly and widened my eyes. "Uh oh." I gasped and fell back.

"Yay! Daddy won! Daddy won!" She jumped up and down on the bed.

"Dinner's ready!" Esme called on the otherside of the door.

"Woo hoo!" Adria jumped down off the bed and ran out the door.

Edward laid beside me and laughed.

"She is very energetic." I chuckled. "Are you sure she isn't Alice's?"

He made a gagging noise and held his head off the end of the bed. I slapped his chest playfully and closed my eyes, calming my heartbeat. I could feel his butterscotch eyes burning into me. I opened mine and looked at him.

"What?" I asked and smiled slightly.

"You're incredable. You have known her all of 30 minutes and she already loves you. I would know." He tapped his head.

I smiled wide. "Does this mean I am a keeper?"

"Absolutly." He smiled and took my hand twining my fingers with his.

"Thank you for letting me meet her." I sighed.

"It was all my pleaser." He kissed my fingertips.

My stomach growled signaling the end of playtime.

"Dinner time for the...goddess." Edward laughed.

I stood and straighted out my clothes and hair. "Okay, now I look decent."

"Never just decent." Edward shook his head. "Never."

I stood on my toes and kissed his cheek before walking out.

This day had turned out neither how I expected nor blew up in our faces. It was more than that. Much more.

I never knew we were waiting for eachother like this. I never knew I would find someone who I could see in my future 100 years from now. Someone with a beautiful daughter whom I loved the second I saw her. All this time.
