Twilight fans once again are dissapointed in Chicago!

From what I have heard through all the Chicago base Fanpopper.They too are dissapointed with the false and deceitful information from Hot Topic.From San Francsico to Texas to Chicago,Seem to me that twice Hot Topic have failed us miserably.Many numbers of fans were waiting in a cold hoping to see our favorite star Robert Pattinson.
With the false information which they did the same with San Francisco telling Fans that the lines will start at different time,but what most found out was that the wrist band had already been sold since the early hours of the morning. All the fans that showed up later have no way to know that information was changed suddenly by Hot Topic.Unlike the one in San Francisco which they told people who did show up early at the time they advertised that it was cancelled(reason was to settled the mob scenes) and then went back on their words and sold the tickets anyway.Base their reason on SFPD random act of letting Hot Topic carried on with the event.I had contacted Hot Topic's Store Operation Leigh Rodwick and what she had answered somehow does not explained anything I don't already know.
For some odd reason this doesn't seem to happen with the other cast that also did the signing up in seattle or maybe it did but I haven't heard about it.To my conclusions on this is that they need to have a better idea of management. To come up with a better ways to do this for the next time they have any event,period!Sooner or later people are going to boycott the store because of this unhappy out come of what was supposed to be a happy event.Thanks for reading folks!

Curlytop_ Have you seen what Hot Topic have put up on their website I'm sure you have but here is the link in case you haven't http://community.hottopic.com/hottopic/Events/110508_Twilight.asp Personally I think that Hot Topic have been totally unprepared for the massive out pouring of fans. And from the sound of it it is only for the signings involving Rob Pattinson, who is huge right now. It has turned into a huge mess, and really what Hot Topic should be doing is totally rethinking how they deal with all the fans, I think the first signing in SF was a disaster and they handled it very badly. I am in Minneapolis and there is going to be a signing in the MOA, I have checked both the Hot Topic website and the Mall website to see about the rules for getting tickets and they are a bit confusing. On Hot Topic they have said that they are changing the rules although I am unsure what they have changed them to, on the MOA website it says that they will not allow people to queue outside over night and that people cannot gather at the enterances before 7am (when Hot topic opens). When I have looked at other Mall websites they do not seem to have such instructions. Hot Topic should have worked with the Mall directors more closely to let fans know exactly when and where they should queue. Although I know that Hot Topic have turned this whole thing into a fiasco it was inevitable that some fans were going to be disappointed. There are only so many places. Yes Hot Topic could have handled it all much better. Lying to people is unforgivable. But when they where faced with thousands of fans standing in the cold and rain when only the people at the front of the queue were going to get in what could they do? If people were queuing before the time they were supposed to be could they have said you know what because you have broken the rules in queuing too early you are forfeited from getting a ticket. And then the first people to arrive at the proper time get tickets, I don't know. The whole thing was just badly organised from the start and Hot Topic have ended up looking really bad. I'm totally with you though on the whole boycotting thing, and maybe it would make them work a little bit harder next time to ensure that things run more smoothly.

What the hell are they blaming the fans in Sf for?Saying that we became disorderly and stormed the mall entrance,are you freakin kidding me?We stormed the mall because of that stupid security guy!He didn't know what the hell he was doing.If the HT Staff was working with the Mall security from the start by letting us form the line from Midnight or what ever time like in Chicago.It won't be a subject right now.It would give them the outline for the next event.And if the wristband was sold out,No one would argue because they did advertised for 500 first come. It would set an example and that every other place will fall into place.This would work if no one complain from the first mall.It failed because they weren't prepared for the numbers is more like it.What a BS!!And by the way the Staff didn't come out to calm us.The lied they told did that for them.It didn't revised ,all the fan that was there earlier weren't around to beat the crap out of them!It was other late oppotunist that got lucky and got to see Rob.Which I don't blame them for taking.But don't blame us for what happened in Chicago. Their intruction is what make it confusing to the fan is more like the reason.

Rachelle Lefevre of 'Twilight' joins ABC series 'Off the Map',

Rachelle Lefevre of Twilight fame has reportedly been made a regular cast member on Off the Map, a new ABC medical drama produced by Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes.

Lefevre will play Eva, "a free-spirited missionary doc who is well versed in international medicine and global healthone of several doctors on the show", Entertainment Weekly says. The show is set to premiere in the midseason behind Desperate Housewives.
