I wrote this very short story based on Eclipse. It's told from Edward's point of view. I wrote it quite some time ago, and only decided now to put it out and see what people think of it. Please comment and tell me what you think (if you want to read others etc.) as I have some other similar short stories that I was thinking about posting aswell!

Undoubtedly Alice was my favourite sister. There wasn’t really any competition. I had annoyed Rosalie from the first day she heard me speak; it went both ways. I loved Rosalie, true. But without a doubt, I adored Alice. She was annoying and weird, but she was also funny, useful and my other half, well not exactly but something like it; my best friend. We stuck together, Alice and I. Both freaks among those who were already freaks. We kept each other’s secrets, we protected those we loved; the exact same people by some horrible trick of faith.
“Edward…” Alice said sweetly as I wandered into the kitchen, contemplating on whether I should go hunting or not. But I was too nervous. Bella was at her werewolf party. My voice twisted around the word werewolf. I don’t know how I had talked myself into trusting her assessment of the werewolves’ safety- Bella wasn’t exactly the best at assessing danger-, but as I had said to Bella, I didn’t want it to drive a wedge between us.
“Edward….” Alice said again. I had no idea what she wanted. Naturally she was thinking of Bella with the werewolves, wondering why she couldn’t see them. It bothered her to be blind, to not be sure of the future.
“Edward….” she started once more.
“Alice, you’ve said that three times already. What do you want?”
'Want?!' Alice thought, her voice tainted with mock surprise and hurt. 'Why on earth do you think I would want anything? Hmmm? It makes no sense what so ever for me to want anything from you, Edward. Your girlfriend, though, well that’s another matter entirely.'
Oh crap. What did she want from Bella now? I sighed.
“What is it, Alice?”
Hope and excitement glimmered in her eyes. Suddenly I caught sight of a vision. A party. That was what she wanted. A graduation party, for Bella. Ugh. Bella would never forgive me if I said yes, but I also saw that Alice was going to get her way. She usually did.
“As you have already seen, by prying in my head, you know what I want. Please Edward.” She begged, dropping down to her knees, the magazine she had been reading slipping out of her hands. 'The last party I organised was Bella’s eighteenth, and that didn’t go down too well. In fact, I’d say with certainty that that party had the worst outcome in the history of parties, wouldn’t you agree?'
I shuddered as I remembered Bella’s disastrous eighteenth birthday party, which I had tried so hard too forget, but failed miserably. I sighed again.
“Seeing as you’re going to get you’re way by taking Bella on a guilt trip if I don’t agree now, I suppose there’s no point in making Bella feel bad. Fine, Alice. Have your fun. But…”
“Yay!!!” Alice squealed, clapping her hands together in delight. “But I have to tell Bella, got it, got it! Bye now!” She finished my sentence for me, and ran out the door, plans for the party already underway in her head.
I sighed, once more, and sat down in the seat Alice had been sitting on minutes before. I picked up the magazine she had dropped. I started to flick through it absentmindedly, and suddenly noticed that all the pages were of wedding dresses, decoration and the like. If my heart had still been beating it would have stopped. There was no way that she knew, was there? No. Why would she have been looking out for such a thing? I suddenly realised, with a heavy heart, that, yes she knew. She always knew everything.

If you're wondering about the quote in "Twilight" from Montague Summers I can explain.
Montague Summers was a 19th century British clergyman and writer. Most of his books were nonfiction works about witches and vampires.
The quote in "Twilight" is taken from the introduction to the book "The Vampire:His Kith And Kin". A volume that covers vampire legends from around the world. Along with familiar Europeon vampires that most are familiar with the book also covers vampire legends from Africa, Asia and other parts of the world.
This an excellent work about vampire legends that is worth seeking out.
