Kayla’s POV

“What’s the sex?” Alice squealed as Carlisle moved the probe over my belly. She was gazing adoringly at the image of my baby on the screen. Knowing we were looking, the baby gave a little nudge. It was harder than I was used to but not painful.
“Did you see the baby kick?” Alice asked me, her eyes not leaving the screen.
“I felt it, Alice,” I said, smiling at her.
Edward’s eyes were flitting between me and the screen. He had been watching me carefully the past few days and it had been quite annoying. I made sure he heard that in my thoughts.
“I will only say if Kayla and Edward would like to know,” Carlisle said, still moving the probe over my stomach.
I saw the corners of Edward’s mouth twitch up and guessed he’d just heard Carlisle’s thoughts and knew the sex.
“Well, Edward already knows now,” I said, rolling my eyes. “I might as well find out.”
Alice dragged her eyes off the screen and glared at Edward.
“That’s not fair,” she said, pouting. “I’ve been nice and not tried to see the sex of the baby in a vision.”
“I can’t control my ability like you two can,” Edward said in his defence.
“You should at least have tried for today.” Alice folded her arms across her chest.
“Shut up,” I said to Edward before he could retaliate. “I want to know what I’m having.”
Carlisle looked at me and grinned.
“It’s a girl.”
Alice squealed and hugged me tight.
“A niece!” she jumped up and down. “Yes!”
I looked at the screen, at my little girl, feeling a tear slide down cheek.
“My two girls,” Edward whispered, kissing my forehead.
“How far am I now?” I asked Carlisle.
He turned back to the screen.
“Judging by the length of the baby, which I think is about 10 to 11 inches, you are 21 to 23 weeks pregnant.”
“Is that the second trimester?” I asked, beginning to worry. It was all too fast. Way too fast.
Edward began to rub soothing circles with his thumb on the back of my hand.
“Yes,” Carlisle said. “From now on, we must watch you. You could be in the third trimester by next week. Usually, the third trimester is when women gain the most weight as their babies are getting a lot bigger. We need to be careful, Kayla. As I told you before, you may not be able to carry to full term. You will not be able to grow as fast as your baby.”
“I understand,” I said, my voice coming out steadier than I felt. Edward squeezed my hand.
“I’m here,” Alice said, her enthusiasm replaced by seriousness. “I’ll keep watch.”
Carlisle nodded and turned back to the screen, pressing a few buttons to print us a picture.
It’s going to be okay, Edward thought to me. We’re all here. Nothing bad will happen.
I nodded, watching Alice gaze at the scan photo. She would look out for my daughter. She wouldn’t let anything bad happen. I had nothing to worry about.

I was lost, helpless, I couldn’t control the beast, the monster inside of me. The monster that wanted blood, that wanted to kill, that gloried in the death of humans. I was gone. Now, someone else full of bloodlust was here. Another part of me, that hadn’t been out in months.
Before I knew it I was following the scent, a familiar scent. I didn’t care if I knew the victim, didn’t care if it would hurt her if I was responsible for another death.
I could only run so far. I would have to stop and hide for if my victim saw me, he would run and I would have to chase him. I chose a tree to hide behind that was not ten feet from my victim. I could see him clearly even though there was no light. He was standing and looking around. He even turned in a circle on the spot. It was evident he was lost. A perfect excuse. When people go missing in the forest they rarely turn up alive. I stepped out from behind the tree, standing directly behind him. I watched him carefully, and for a second I willed him to continue walking. For a second, I knew that if he walked away from me, I wouldn’t kill him. But he didn’t continue walking. Sensing my presence he turned and saw me. His chocolate brown eyes, so like hers, lit up when he recognised me. Her face flitted through my mind and I almost turned and ran but I couldn’t. I could hear the pulse of his veins, smell his blood, hear it sloshing around his body. I wanted it.
“I’m so glad you’re here,” he said, sighing in relief. “I’m totally lost, can you believe that? I don’t know where I am. Do you remember how you got here? We can go back the way you came. I’m so silly me.”
I tilted my head to the side, scrutinising him. Old instinct took over, assessing everything about him. What would be the best way to kill him without making a noise? I didn’t want to have to eat and run.
His eyes showed fear first. He didn’t understand. Why wasn’t I answering him? Going over to him and telling him how stupid he was for getting lost? Leading him back out of the forest to the safety of home?
Again, I wanted to turn and run but I was so close to tasting it. To feeling it. Human blood. The experience of it was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Nothing compared to it.
I didn’t move. I continued to stare at him and he got frightened.
He realised the change in me too late. He tried to run but I was too fast for him. My teeth sunk into his neck and warm blood flowed into my waiting mouth. He collapsed to the ground, crying out, as his blood poured profusely from his neck and soothed my burning thirst. His blood was too fast for me. Most of it I could drink but some of it overflowed and spilled down my chin. He was silent now. Not a sound escaped from him. That was good; I preferred to eat in silence.

“Try to go back to sleep,” Edward whispered softly in my ear. I felt his hands begin to caress my hair but I couldn’t go back to sleep.
I awkwardly rolled over onto my other side so I faced Edward. He quickly tried to mask the worry in his eyes but I saw it.
“I can’t,” I whispered back. “This is getting too frustrating. Who the hell is this vampire?”
I watched as Edward searched his mind, for what seemed the thousandth time, for the answer to my question. The problem was, none of us knew of any vampire who would want to hurt Charlie.
“You don’t think it could be Tess,” Edward said, averting his eyes for fear I might hurt him for suggesting it.
“Tess?” I repeated.
I considered this. Could Tess hurt Charlie? No. She loved Charlie. You could see it in the way she looked at him, the way she would just randomly touch his hand or face as if to reassure herself he was still okay. I just couldn’t imagine her hurting him. She loved him, she wouldn’t kill him.
Right?
“Maybe I’m just being stupid,” Edward quickly said. “Maybe Tess isn’t who you’re seeing in your vision. If only you knew who you were when you have these visions.”
“But life isn’t that easy.”
Edward sighed. I tried to snuggle up to him but my protruding bump stopped me from getting as close to Edward as I wanted to. Edward smiled and moved behind me so he could wrap his arms around me from behind.
“Not long now,” he whispered in my ear. Distraction. His hand caressed my bump.
“Yeah,” I said, feeling nervous. “Not long.”
“Don’t worry, Kayla,” he tried to assure me. “Everything will be fine.”
“You’re not the one carrying the half vampire child,” I muttered, my imagination producing images of a baby Nosferatu ripping it’s way out of my body. Would it be like that? Would my baby girl need to tear her way out or could I give birth to her naturally?
“Do you regret keeping the baby?” Edward asked quietly.
“Regret keeping our baby?” I repeated.
“Yes,” he replied. “The way you are thinking. You’ve had constant doubts during your pregnancy. I’m wondering if I should have been more forceful when I tried to get you to abort the baby.”
“Edward, I do not want this baby to be aborted.” I touched his hand that was on my bump. “Of course I’m having doubts, I’m eighteen and married to a vampire, living with said vampire’s vampire family and having his half-vampire baby. It isn’t normal.”
“You are not normal,” he said, nuzzling my neck. “And I wouldn’t want you any other way.”
I smiled and my baby girl gave a little kick. She was well past nudging now. She was getting bigger and stronger. I was overjoyed that she was growing healthily but I didn’t know if I would be able to handle her strength.

When I opened my eyes, Edward was staring straight into my eyes. I placed my head on his hand and tried to sleep before I had to get up and get ready.

-Bella,love. You seem really tired. Are you sure you wanna go to school today?

I turned my head and stared into his golden eyes. He kissed my forehead and started playing with my hair.

-I should go. We have biology test! It's important.

He chuckled and said:
-Ok,Ok! I know that you're a total geek!

I punched him on his shoulder where his skin was Ice cold as always. The clouds were covering the sky so after 2 days that Edward couldn't come to school, He finally could and that made me happy for almost a minute.

-Can you wear your blue T-shirt Today? The one that I bought you?!

I nodded with my head and got the t-shirt Edward had bought me the other week. I wore it while Edward was holding me in his arms.

-Ah, your strong!

I giggled and got myself out of his arms.
Chapter 5

*Edward’s pov*

I went out the room.
I went downstairs.
Alice was right. There’s a stupid thing that’s waiting for me.
What the hell! It’s my chance… I didn’t even grab the opportunity.
‘Dammit. You are so stupid Edward Cullen....’ I shouted to myself.
Suddenly, I heard the doorbell. I opened the door, still annoyed by what had happened at the room.
I looked up.
To my surprise, I saw a girl. She was as young as me. Her eyes were golden brown. Her skin was pale. Her hair was perfectly blonde. Her dimples were so cute – that reminds me of….
Ashley.
Ashley?
Ashley Walker.
No,...

“Jacob!” I was yelling from the bath room. I was in more pain than I ever thought was possible. It felt like something was clawing its way out of my stomach. This couldn’t be possible I’d been pregnant for only a couple of months. “JACOB BLACK GET YOU ASS UP HERE!” I was screaming so loud Jacob could have gone def. He ran into the bath room and kneeled down beside me. “What’s wrong?” “I need to get to grandpa.” He picked me up and drove me to the house and carried me in.
“What’s wrong with her?” My mother came rushing to my side. “Mom stop just get grandpa.”...

(I am sorry, I think I think I have writers block, I dont know how or what to write about. Like a honey moon or anything like that.)

Sawyer and I we to the reception, it was beautiful. Everyone came around and hugged Sawyer and I, told us congradulations. Before we knew it, it was time for everyone to leave. We decide not go on a honeymoon but to just stay at home and relax. We started helping everyone take down the decorations from the wedding and reception. I hated taking everything down because it all looked normal. It didn't take long, than me and Sawyer enjoyed some alone time together....

Chapter 19: Honorary Wolf (Nessie's POV)

The sun streamed into the open flap of the tent reflecting off of me and Jake’s skin sending prisms of color swirling around us. We had been laying in a contented silence for the past hour just trying to wrap our heads around the fact that we were able to be here together without a worry. It amazed me how even after all of the drama that had unfolded in our lives over the past couple of weeks we could still fall right back into place as though nothing had happened. I was even more grateful than I had been for each moment that...

I'm sure, by now, most of you have seen the New Moon Teaser Trailer 2 that was posted. Although it was in french, I'm going to talk about it and it's misinterpretation.

Positive comments first! It's great to see snippets of new scenes! We got to see:
- the wolf pack
- Jacob in Bella's Room
- sneak peek of the Volturi
- cliff diving
- Victoria
- Edward and Bella's Italy kiss
- movie theatre J/B talk

They all look great! And it makes us want to see the movie more if that's possible!

Now the negativity. When I analyze the trailer and get critical, sometimes I get pretty negative if I'm not...

‘Harley… Just because you can’t step outside doesn’t mean you can bring the outside inside.’ Complained Alice. I’d been practising using my ability of producing objects but I got bored and decided to put it to use. I had managed to make over 60 vases of yellow roses, water-willows and daisies appear in the living room.
‘I hate being cooped up in here though! I want to run!’ I almost screamed.
‘But you know why you’re here and not out there. You’re still only 1 month old. We can’t let a newborn out into a world full of living, breathing humans.’ Alice repeated. I knew...

Chapter 4: Nature

As I had expected, Bella demanded a meeting with my family shortly after our incident with the dog in the parking lot. Luckily, I had seen this coming (confirmed by Alice, of course), and had gotten to my family first. I had convinced them all that Bella’s change could not happen while she was in a state of panic. Giving up your mortality was not a decision to take lightly, and doing it because you are afraid is not the right decision. They agreed with me wholeheartedly, and I was grateful.

The meeting itself had gone quickly, each of my family members telling Bella why she...

About Them: Caius is married to fellow vampire, Athenodora. He is a leader of the Volturi along with Marcus and Aro who have special abilities each. Another long one for you guys. I decided to break the story up in chapters so you guys can keep track of the story with the actual book! ^_^

When I arrived at Charlie’s, Bella was asking permission to go to La Push. Charlie’s thoughts were ecstatic that she was finally going to be talk to Jake. He didn’t care that it was the middle of the night. Quicker than a human eye could detect, I opened the hood of Bella’s truck, and quickly incapacitated it. I hopped in the passenger’s seat and waited in the dark. It was cloudy tonight. Too cloudy for even the moon to shine through. I was rather...

“He didn't touch me. Yet. I'm worried that he will though,” she looked down. “He.... he drinks too often. He'll end up hurting me, but it isn't me I'm worried about Tom,” she looked back up at me.

“I understand, what do we need to do?” I asked her. “We need to get you away from him, away from here,”...

In Alice's vision, I see Victoria in the forest right near Forks. Alice's face was completely blank, and I controlled my expression so Angela and Ben won't be wondering what's going on. We still have a secret to protect, the only exception was Bella.
"Alice? Alice!" Angela yelled while moving her hands back and forth in front of Alice's face. I stopped looking at the horror-strucked vision and pretended that it was not a big deal. I didn't need Bella to get worried. I won't let anything happen to her.

I made a casual laugh. Angela and Ben looked at me,...

My whole body ached to be with her. My anxiety must have been showing because even without Jasper present Alice leapt lightly to my side and thought softly towards me.
"Dont worry the DOGS" she thought fiercly "will be gone soon and you can see Bella." she added hoping to placate me.
I sent Bella a quick text, i knew how bad anxiety was for her.

Chapter 4-The Demise

I heard the front door creak open and then slam closed. “My dinner had better be ready,” I heard the rough voice of my husband as he walked inside.

“Yes sir. It is,” I said pulling out his chair for him. Then sprinting to sit at the other end of the table before he could sit and yell at me more. We ate in silence then after dinner, much to my dismay he headed off to the bar with his 'drinking buddies'. I took this opportunity to clean the dishes and pray he didn't get too drunk.

A few hours later I was upstairs reading. The house was spotless and I couldn't think...

Rosalie hesitated before she began speaking. I could tell she wanted to just plough into an entire hour long speech but she considered her words carefully. She didn’t want to upset me which was weird but good.
“First of all,” she said. “I don’t hate you, Kayla. I never have and never will.”
I nodded. “That’s good. I wouldn’t know what to do if you did hate me.”
She smiled. “Probably run in terror, I think.”
“Probably,” I laughed. Rosalie even managed a tiny laugh.
“But,” Rosalie turned serious. “I do have to stress that I do not approve of you marrying Edward....

As usual, at night, I sticked by Bella's side, watching her sleep in peace. It made me smile when she said my name over and over again. Sometimes she make full sentences saying, "I love you, Edward."
I kissed her forehead, and said, "I never get tired of you saying saying that, I will always love you too."
As if she could hear me, she smiled slightly and drifted into deeper sleep.
I rubbed her arm, letting her know that I will never leave her out of my sight again.

In a dazed rush, Maria, having brushed her teeth to a standard that was less than satisfactory, set her toothbrush upright in the stand and glanced at her reflection in the mirror that hung over the basin. She looked tired, that much was apparent, but something about the delicate rings under her dark blue eyes, and the light flush on her normally pale cheeks, made her seem like an unrecognisable girl. A vivacious, excited teen that was eager for something that was coming. It worried her. She was used to being different, a sore thumb, but not alien. Especially not to herself. She had begun to...
