Kayla’s POV

“What’s the sex?” Alice squealed as Carlisle moved the probe over my belly. She was gazing adoringly at the image of my baby on the screen. Knowing we were looking, the baby gave a little nudge. It was harder than I was used to but not painful.
“Did you see the baby kick?” Alice asked me, her eyes not leaving the screen.
“I felt it, Alice,” I said, smiling at her.
Edward’s eyes were flitting between me and the screen. He had been watching me carefully the past few days and it had been quite annoying. I made sure he heard that in my thoughts.
“I will only say if Kayla and Edward would like to know,” Carlisle said, still moving the probe over my stomach.
I saw the corners of Edward’s mouth twitch up and guessed he’d just heard Carlisle’s thoughts and knew the sex.
“Well, Edward already knows now,” I said, rolling my eyes. “I might as well find out.”
Alice dragged her eyes off the screen and glared at Edward.
“That’s not fair,” she said, pouting. “I’ve been nice and not tried to see the sex of the baby in a vision.”
“I can’t control my ability like you two can,” Edward said in his defence.
“You should at least have tried for today.” Alice folded her arms across her chest.
“Shut up,” I said to Edward before he could retaliate. “I want to know what I’m having.”
Carlisle looked at me and grinned.
“It’s a girl.”
Alice squealed and hugged me tight.
“A niece!” she jumped up and down. “Yes!”
I looked at the screen, at my little girl, feeling a tear slide down cheek.
“My two girls,” Edward whispered, kissing my forehead.
“How far am I now?” I asked Carlisle.
He turned back to the screen.
“Judging by the length of the baby, which I think is about 10 to 11 inches, you are 21 to 23 weeks pregnant.”
“Is that the second trimester?” I asked, beginning to worry. It was all too fast. Way too fast.
Edward began to rub soothing circles with his thumb on the back of my hand.
“Yes,” Carlisle said. “From now on, we must watch you. You could be in the third trimester by next week. Usually, the third trimester is when women gain the most weight as their babies are getting a lot bigger. We need to be careful, Kayla. As I told you before, you may not be able to carry to full term. You will not be able to grow as fast as your baby.”
“I understand,” I said, my voice coming out steadier than I felt. Edward squeezed my hand.
“I’m here,” Alice said, her enthusiasm replaced by seriousness. “I’ll keep watch.”
Carlisle nodded and turned back to the screen, pressing a few buttons to print us a picture.
It’s going to be okay, Edward thought to me. We’re all here. Nothing bad will happen.
I nodded, watching Alice gaze at the scan photo. She would look out for my daughter. She wouldn’t let anything bad happen. I had nothing to worry about.

I was lost, helpless, I couldn’t control the beast, the monster inside of me. The monster that wanted blood, that wanted to kill, that gloried in the death of humans. I was gone. Now, someone else full of bloodlust was here. Another part of me, that hadn’t been out in months.
Before I knew it I was following the scent, a familiar scent. I didn’t care if I knew the victim, didn’t care if it would hurt her if I was responsible for another death.
I could only run so far. I would have to stop and hide for if my victim saw me, he would run and I would have to chase him. I chose a tree to hide behind that was not ten feet from my victim. I could see him clearly even though there was no light. He was standing and looking around. He even turned in a circle on the spot. It was evident he was lost. A perfect excuse. When people go missing in the forest they rarely turn up alive. I stepped out from behind the tree, standing directly behind him. I watched him carefully, and for a second I willed him to continue walking. For a second, I knew that if he walked away from me, I wouldn’t kill him. But he didn’t continue walking. Sensing my presence he turned and saw me. His chocolate brown eyes, so like hers, lit up when he recognised me. Her face flitted through my mind and I almost turned and ran but I couldn’t. I could hear the pulse of his veins, smell his blood, hear it sloshing around his body. I wanted it.
“I’m so glad you’re here,” he said, sighing in relief. “I’m totally lost, can you believe that? I don’t know where I am. Do you remember how you got here? We can go back the way you came. I’m so silly me.”
I tilted my head to the side, scrutinising him. Old instinct took over, assessing everything about him. What would be the best way to kill him without making a noise? I didn’t want to have to eat and run.
His eyes showed fear first. He didn’t understand. Why wasn’t I answering him? Going over to him and telling him how stupid he was for getting lost? Leading him back out of the forest to the safety of home?
Again, I wanted to turn and run but I was so close to tasting it. To feeling it. Human blood. The experience of it was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Nothing compared to it.
I didn’t move. I continued to stare at him and he got frightened.
He realised the change in me too late. He tried to run but I was too fast for him. My teeth sunk into his neck and warm blood flowed into my waiting mouth. He collapsed to the ground, crying out, as his blood poured profusely from his neck and soothed my burning thirst. His blood was too fast for me. Most of it I could drink but some of it overflowed and spilled down my chin. He was silent now. Not a sound escaped from him. That was good; I preferred to eat in silence.

“Try to go back to sleep,” Edward whispered softly in my ear. I felt his hands begin to caress my hair but I couldn’t go back to sleep.
I awkwardly rolled over onto my other side so I faced Edward. He quickly tried to mask the worry in his eyes but I saw it.
“I can’t,” I whispered back. “This is getting too frustrating. Who the hell is this vampire?”
I watched as Edward searched his mind, for what seemed the thousandth time, for the answer to my question. The problem was, none of us knew of any vampire who would want to hurt Charlie.
“You don’t think it could be Tess,” Edward said, averting his eyes for fear I might hurt him for suggesting it.
“Tess?” I repeated.
I considered this. Could Tess hurt Charlie? No. She loved Charlie. You could see it in the way she looked at him, the way she would just randomly touch his hand or face as if to reassure herself he was still okay. I just couldn’t imagine her hurting him. She loved him, she wouldn’t kill him.
Right?
“Maybe I’m just being stupid,” Edward quickly said. “Maybe Tess isn’t who you’re seeing in your vision. If only you knew who you were when you have these visions.”
“But life isn’t that easy.”
Edward sighed. I tried to snuggle up to him but my protruding bump stopped me from getting as close to Edward as I wanted to. Edward smiled and moved behind me so he could wrap his arms around me from behind.
“Not long now,” he whispered in my ear. Distraction. His hand caressed my bump.
“Yeah,” I said, feeling nervous. “Not long.”
“Don’t worry, Kayla,” he tried to assure me. “Everything will be fine.”
“You’re not the one carrying the half vampire child,” I muttered, my imagination producing images of a baby Nosferatu ripping it’s way out of my body. Would it be like that? Would my baby girl need to tear her way out or could I give birth to her naturally?
“Do you regret keeping the baby?” Edward asked quietly.
“Regret keeping our baby?” I repeated.
“Yes,” he replied. “The way you are thinking. You’ve had constant doubts during your pregnancy. I’m wondering if I should have been more forceful when I tried to get you to abort the baby.”
“Edward, I do not want this baby to be aborted.” I touched his hand that was on my bump. “Of course I’m having doubts, I’m eighteen and married to a vampire, living with said vampire’s vampire family and having his half-vampire baby. It isn’t normal.”
“You are not normal,” he said, nuzzling my neck. “And I wouldn’t want you any other way.”
I smiled and my baby girl gave a little kick. She was well past nudging now. She was getting bigger and stronger. I was overjoyed that she was growing healthily but I didn’t know if I would be able to handle her strength.

Sorry it's so short!!!!

Edward’s POV

It’s been four months and still no trace of Bella. I was starting to get scared. If she’s dead, I’ll die of heart break.
I can’t take it anymore. It’s too hard.
We were somewhere in Alaska. We would be going back to Forks in a few days to start over. It’s all my fault Bella’s gone. I should have never left her at that party.
If I ever get her back, I will never leave her side. I’m not even leaving her when she has to go to the bathroom. I will never...

Guys, I am utterly sorry. MacNurse11 is right. Jacob does know that Kayla was bitten. Sorry. When I was writing the chapter this morning I did look to see whether Jacob knew but I couldn’t find it at all in my prequel folder. So I assumed he didn’t. I have written a tonne of these and you lot should know so I am allowed to get confused as to what has already happened. I have rewritten the chapter but don’t worry. Jacob not knowing now wasn’t a significant thing, it just made the story drag longer. Now that I know that he does things are much more easier.

So here it is, re-edited Chapter...

Okay well I don't know where this is going but I hope it turns out good.
So Bella's getting ready to move into the huse that Billy gives her by the river right in the middle of the treaty line.
"Bella, you sure you can go live out there all alone in the middle of...nowhere?" Charlie asked concerned.
"Actually dad I never really thought about that, wow, um, I really didn't think about it!" Bella replied stunned.
So Bella calls over Seth and Leah- Bella's friend bcause they know how eacher other feel. They were perfect to live with her in her house, good company and good protection.

The next day Jacob and I went to the store and bought everything that was junk food. Then we went to a movie store and got The Covenant, Sweeny Todd, and The Messenger. “Hey Jake what about Van Helsing?” I said trying to lighten up the mood. I looked over at him and he just stared blankly. “Chill, I was kidding.” He had gotten so serious and worried about me, I just missed seeing his big smile that showed all his snowy white teeth. We got home and dumped every thing on the living room table and slipped in The Covenant. We wat ched every one of them. Suddenly I stood up forceful and...

Guys, I'm really sorry this chapter took so long to be posted but my internet decided to take a holiday last wednesday and came back today. So for that I'm posting two chapters on.
Enjoy.

I woke in the morning alone. I wasn’t surprised. Edward wouldn’t have come back in case Charlie decided to pop his head around the door. I wondered if Charlie hadn’t come to my room, how far would Edward have gone. I was pondering this while I looked for some breakfast. Charlie had gone to work early. Someone needed to speak to him at the station. He was running around in a rush and looked kind of panicked....

Smash!!! I jumped up out of bed. The winds had started to pick up just like Aunt Alice predicted. I could see the clouds getting darker; the air was think and cold. I got out of bed trying not to wake up Jake and slipped on Jake’s T – shirt that was thrown on to the lamp shade next to my side of the bed. I stood up and was a little light headed I caught myself on the night stand. God, we have to not be so ruff in bed. I get to dizzy in the morning from all of it. I thought to myself. I don’t know what it is but there’s just this magnetic pull between Jacob and me. We could help it last...

After eating breakfast Jacob and I went up to our room to get dressed. Finding the closet was pretty easy because there are only two doors in our room, the bathroom and the closet. “Oh. My. Gosh. Alice went way over board with this.” Jacob said in a normal tone. I walked over and looked in the closet and she did. It was the size of my parents bedroom back at there house. Jacob and I had our own sides. Aunt Alice hadn’t put any of Jake’s or my clothes in the closet she bought all new clothes for us. We walked in to find something simple to wear but that was impossible with Aunt Alice...

Kayla's Car. BMW 535XI
I guess you might want to know what Kayla's car looks like. This took me, like, ages to pick out a good car that didn't look too flashy because the Cullens want to reamin inconspicuous. I know that the car doesn't have a black interior but just imagine that it does. I couldn't find a good pic with black interior.

I loved my car. I loved the black leather interior and the new car smell. I wanted to stay inside this car forever and not leave it alone but all too soon I had to go home. I hated it. I didn’t want to leave it alone in the Cullens’ garage. My car was new. The other cars might pick...

“I thought you said she was fine.”
“She is.”
“Why isn’t she waking up?”
“Give her time, Edward. Her body needs to recover.”
I was on the edge of consciousness. Just before I opened my eyes. I hated that part. All of your senses come back at once and bombard you. I recognised the voices that were speaking next to me. I think they were discussing me. But if it was me, what did my body need to recover from?
“It is all gone, isn’t it, Carlisle?” Edward sounded hesitant, unsure.
“I am positive,” Carlisle said, in his calm and reassuring voice. “Jasper got rid of all the venom,...

hey guys, a shorter chapter this time, but the next one will be back in bella's POV...enjoi!

I should have known how Alice and Esme would react.
When we entered the house, they were waiting for us ready to pounce. Esme was the closet to the door.
“What happened?” her voice was thick with worry. My head was still spinning from what Bella said to reply to her.
She took in my expression and I could hear the panic running through her mind.
What happened?
Carlisle answered her calmly, but with a sad edge to his voice.
“Seth was filling us in on what happened while we were away…” he hesitated...

Do you like this kind of stories?
Actually, I’m not obsessed wih vampires, but I really liked this story.

How do you describe Bella?
She’s a strong character. It’s easy to relate to her and love her from the start.

Did you meet with Stphenie Meyer?
She was very involved with the production of the movie, she checked the script with Catherine and she loved it. She joined us while filming, but just for fun, she never got too involved.

What was it like working with Robert?
It was really cool, he’s a great actor. In this movie he plays the ideal man. I don’t think you can find a guy like...

As soon as Edward heard this, he rushed to Jasper’s side and helped him up. On Jasper’s other side was Emmett, who was now helping his brother up too. A tear rolled down Alice’s cheek. I never knew vampires or supernatural creatures could cry. This meant that something was really wrong. I put my arm around Alice.
“Get Jasper upstairs as fast as you can,” Carlisle said.
Emmett and Edward nodded and rushed Jasper upstairs to Edward’s room. Alice pulled my arm away and started heading toward the stairs. Carlisle stopped her.
“You four stay here,” he said. I knew he was referring...

The glare of the sun woke me; I had to shield my eyes from its brightness. A bright glitter just out of the corner of my eye caught my attention. I turned my head towards it.
"Gah!" I jumped a foot and slamming into the headboard. I rubbed my head. "Aunt Alice! What are you doing here?" "You sleep forever!" she complained. "I've been waiting for ages to talk to you! Did you take sleeping pills or something? Never mind, it's over with. But why didn't you tell me?!?!" she demanded, glaring at me. I was still groggy and my head ached. "Tell you about what?" "You know." she glared pointedly at...

I had an original article that was like 8 pages that said my opinion on every single scene (lol) but I decided to shorten it and put it up here ;D. Ummm... I'm pretty critical, but please don't bash me if you don't agree. This is simply my opinion. It's not like it even matters... lol

One Word: Disappointment. If anyone asked me to describe the movie to them, that is what I would say. It was a disappointment. And, I think that's a generous statement for how awful it was.
(Now, to the people that loved the twilight movie, I'm sorry I don't agree with you. But, again, don't get really angry......

Okay, I just got back from watching Twilight the movie... and just let me tell you I am not a happy camper. I mean, I didn't expect the movie to be as good as the book, DUH! The book was AWESOME. The movie, on the other hand left me questioning, "What were they thinking!?!".

Let me just say, there was ALOT of stuff left out of the movie. And the things they did put in it was not comparable to the book.

I should mention that I laughed alot... which might be a good thing if this movie were a comedy, but it wasn't.

Here are just a few things that really bothered me (These are my first impressions...

How can I decide what's right
When you're clouding up my mind?
I can't win your losing fight
All the time.

How can I ever own what's mine
When you're always taking sides?
But you won't take away my pride.
No, not this time.
Not this time.

How did we get here?
I used to know you so well.
How did we get here?
Well, I think I know.

The truth is hiding in your eyes
And it's hanging on your tongue.
Just boiling in my blood.
But you think that I can't see
What kind of man that you are,
If you're a man at all.
Well, I will figure this one out
On my own.
(I'm screaming, "I love you so.")
On my own.
(My thoughts you can't...

I just finished reading Breaking Dawn and all I can say is WOW!!! I thought it was really good...for the most part. There is some stuff about it that bothered me. Below are my many opinions on the book.

First of all...I adored the Jacob section. I thought it was so sweet and sad. I loved when he was imagining Bella pregnant with his child and how he was upset that Seth had his arm around her. I liked it when he told Quil that he didn't see the faces of other girls anymore. All his chapter titles were great...my favorites were 'Why didn't I just walk away? Oh right, because I'm and idiot.' and...

Eclipse is my least favourite, which means I'm only mildly obsessed with it.

I agree that Jacob needs to imprint and find his own girl (or if he chooses, his own guy). I still like Jacob, he just has big problems.

I think Bella does love Edward more. (A lot more.) Although since her love of Edward is possibly the truest of true loves, that doesn't mean she doesn't love Jacob with enough power to light up all of Washington. It just means it isn't enough to overpower her love of Edward, which (since I already used the electricity metaphor) could light up all of Earth and then some.

We know Bella...
