Her lips trembled as I began to pull back. âPlease Alice; you know itâs only for two days.â I said searching her eyes, my hand running carefully along her back.
She was speechless.
âYou know I hate to be away from you too, but this is something I have to do alone, youâve inspired me to find out more about my past but I have to do it alone.â I said moving my hand to brush the length of her cheek.
Her beautiful face was washed with pain and sadness was rolling over me like waves. I almost gave in and told her I was going to stay with her but she spoke, her expression clearing.
âIf this really is something you have to do alone, I guess I have to deal with it.â She said that irresistible pout slipping onto her lips.
âThank you.â I whispered. Kissing her passionately, are lips lingered together longer than I had planned.
âWhen are you leaving?â She whispered, her sweet breath sweeping across my face.
âNow.â I said, pulling away from her. I felt her try to stop her emotions for hitting me but it didnât work too well.
âI love you Jazz.â She smiled as best as she could.
âI love you too Alice.â I whispered kissing her once more before I turned around heading out the front door.

i couldn't let myself even think for a second that i could ease Rosalies Pain.
i never thought that anyone could, not even Emmett at his full best, and here i sit with everything she ever wanted, and i dont even want it. how could i be so selfish to tie the knot and give up the chance that i might regret for a long time adn might risk a wonderful friendship.
What about Alice, and esme? They may not have asked but i know they would pass up the oppurtunitie.
And what about myself. I've already had a baby, ive got a daughter, but i will regret this later too.
I have the most precious gift for a vampire in my grasp and idont want it, if only i could give it away.

They'd sat there nearly motionless, staring at the board, while Alice foresaw the moves he would make and he picked the moves she would make in return out of her head. They played most of the game in their minds; I think they'd each moved two pawns when Alice suddenly flicked her king over and surrendered. It took all of three minutes."
