“GET AWAY FROM HER!” I shouted to Cynddylan, Aro and Caius. I desperately wanted them to get away from her. If anything happened to Renesmee, Edward and Bella in fact everyone in the Cullen family will be distraught. I thought urgently. I need to do something. NOW! I shifted my eyes to Felix. He was watching Cynddylan, Aro and Nessie. I decided to seize his chance. I kicked Felix in the shin leaving him in shock. I had just fed, before I had been kidnapped by Felix, and I was much younger than most of the Volturi. I kicked Felix in the left shin and then pushed him to the floor leaving him shocked and speechless. Gasps filled the air that surrounded me. I then, quick as a flash, ran to Marcus and grabbed him by the neck. A second round of gasps filled the shocked atmosphere.
“Now, this is very simple. Give me Renesmee, and Markus goes free.” I negotiated seriously.
“No!” Renesmee screamed, and then said in a quieter voice said,
“I want to join the Volturi.” She then winked at me and smiled.
Everyone was still looking at the old, frail body of Marcus in the hands of a strong, young Vampire. Me.
“Jasper, please?” She pleaded realistically. She was very good at acting when she wanted to be.
“Yes you heard the lady, n-now let Marcus go. The Queen Renesmee’s orders.” Aro stuttered. I let him go and pushed him to Aro. When I turned to the big, dark coffee coloured, oak doors, I felt a wave of pain tumble over me. It was Jane. She was using her power to keep me from leaving. It was agonizing. I fell to the floor and hit my head. Not that I could feel the pain of my head over the excruciating pain of Jane’s power, but I knew it hurt.
“Where do you think your going, Jasper? Caius spat the last word.
“Felix, Demetri.” Aro ordered. I groaned in pain. Why wasn’t the pain stopping?
I open my onyx eyes a smidgen, to find that Felix and Demetri were nodding at their master. They turned to me in unison and grabbed the collar of my baby blue shirt. They pushed me to where Renesmee sat, chained up and knocked me to the floor.
They chained me to the chair next to Renesmee and left sniggering in a sinister way.
Renesmee
Time was going slowly, as if on purpose just to annoy me. Now it was worse with Jasper here, not because I didn’t like him but because he was here in danger, in the danger I was supposed to in, now we’re sharing it! At least I won’t go crazy, someone I knew, and someone in my family. I sighed as a sensation of longing took over me. But it quickly went away. I smiled to myself faintly. Jasper. I was grateful for his power no more than ever. Maybe I should get to know Uncle Jasper.
“So… Are the others coming too?” I asked. He glared at me in reply. I kicked myself for asking… If he replied, he would given way the plan! “How’s J-Jacob, then?” I asked again my voice breaking at the sound of his name. Jasper glared at me again, but this time softer.
“He could have been better… Your little ‘strike’ has stirred a few things.” He murmured while my eyes were wide.
“Oh?” I asked confused.
“Edward and Alice had a fight-” I cut him off.
“That happens all the time!” Again he glared at me.
“Let me finish! He lunged at her!” He finished. I was confused, how should I react? Giggle or gasp. I just nodded slightly.
“What I said, I didn’t mean it. I don’t want to join the Volturi. I just said that too-” I was interrupted when Cynddylan walked in, graceful as ever, and came to a halt when he was a foot away from us.
“We know you lied Renesmee. We know you lied when you said you would join us, or I did anyway.” He continued in his Italian accent after a slight pause.
“You see, not only can I influence, but I feel the presence of lies as well. When somebody lies, I feel the presence of the lie and therefore learn that you are lying.”
