I woke up cold. My hair tusseled in the attempted ponytail I had made last night. I really was out of it last night. Yesterday I found out the boy I'm in love with is a Warlock? A mythical creature that I didn't even know exsisted? I still wasen't quite sure if I believed him or not. I didn't know what to do. Would Austin and I still be like usual? Or would it be akward now that I knew what he was? I wasen't sure what to do. But how could he be lieing? I saw the scenes of his memory at Witch School. How could he be lieing if he was able to get his memories in my head. Looking at his reflection seeing the gloriously colorful,amazing,graceful eyes of his young days... I knew I really believed him in my heart. Something made me. I didn't know what it was or why but I kinda liked it.
I stepped off my bed. My warm feet touched the cold floor. I went to the balcony doors and opened them. I wanted some of the warm spring breeze to come in my room. I yawned and walked over to my dresser. I digged out a One republic Tee-Shirt. I remember listening to that band's song ''All the Right moves'' and just wanting to dance. I found some lightly faded blue jeans. I could maybe roll them up and make them capris for the day. I smiled at myself. I got my low rise Converse out. I took a shower last night so I don't have to this morning I guess.
As soon as I got dressed and my make-up done I finally walked over to my phone. ''One Missed Call'' I read outloud. ''Great.'' I said slowly making the word longer than it really was. I was afraid to go to school. Cheer try-outs were in three days. That was sort of the highlight of my week. I couldn't wait to see Austin but then I was terrified at the same time.
I grabbed my backpack and headed downstairs. My mom wasen't awake yet. I decided to leave her a note. I blent down and un-zipped the zipper of my backpack, reached into the very bottom of my bag to find a blue pen. I grabbed a scratch sheet of paper and began to write...
Hey Mom, I saw you weren't awake and I didn't wanna wake you. I wanted you to know I got up and now I'm off to school. I love you. -Ashley
I sighed and picked up the note. I placed it in-front of the coffee maker. There she would really see it. ''Knock Knock Knock'' knocked the door. Austin must be here. I ran to the fridge grabbed a Coke-Cola and jugged about half the can. I left it on the counter and ran to answer the door.
''Hey.'' I said panting the slightest bit as soon as I opened the door. My backback hung around my shoulder. He smiled his beautiful smile.
''Good morning.'' He said still smiling. I just smiled and turned around to lock the door.
We walked down the street and almost silence I knew he was waiting for me to say something about yesterday. But I didn't know what to say.
He sighed and looked down.
''I really don't want this to stop us...from doing anything. If we can't even talk than what's the point at all?'' He said and put his head down. I stopped and turned my body around to look at him. I put my hands on his brod shoulders. They were strong. It made me imagine him in a gym workers out. I wanted to laugh at the thought. Then I opened my mouth to speak.
''I don't care what you are...I just care about you.'' I said honestly. Which was true. I did only care about him. I didn't care what he was as long as we were together. I let me arms flop of his shoulders and to my sides then i turned around and continued walking. I didn't hear footsteps of him walking behind me till about three-seconds later. He sighed and then stopped. Something made me stop too. I didn't know what it was but it was good. I turned to look at him. His face was on alarm. His eyes open wide and looking around. His nostrils were flared as if it was a scent in the air. I lifted my nose up the slightest bit and sniffed the air. The air didn't smell anything un-usual. It was just the same as always. Leaves,oak,pine,flowers...but he smelled something else. He looked at me. Only when I saw his eyes did I see what he was feeling. Worry, Fear, anger, and it was like ''protection'' ...over me. He quickly walked toward me. It wasen't really walking more like half running. Heturned me around forcing me forward. His right arm around my waist,he was on my right,his left arm holding my left arm. We reached the bus stop. No one was there but a few moys walking up the street. Austin grabbed my shoulders with his hands then lifted his left one to my face, forcing me to look in his eyes. I could tell he was serious. He was being aggressive with me. Which wasen't normal. He was always gentle. He looked deeply in my eyes.
''I can't go to school. I have to do something. If anyone asks just say I didn't feel well and turned back.'' He let go of me and took his necklace off. It was a crest. A dagger laying on , what looked like a frame , the dagger was pointing straight down with snakes at the bottom. He finger lingered over the crest necklace. He reached down to take my hand. He lifted my hand up. Palm facing up, he layed the necklace in my hand. Then enclosed my fingers over the necklace. Then looked me in the eyes gentlely.
''Guard this with your life. It's yours now.''
He kissed me on the forehead. I closed my eyes. When I opened them, he was gone. I looked down at the necklace and craddeled it in my hands.
It was mine now...
''Okay everyone, use the book before you even touch the microscope please. '' Mrs.Alexander said. She picked up a microscope off of a table sitting in the front. She took the microscope to her desk. I looked at the empty seat to my left. Austin. I couldn't help but wonder what he was doing now...
I blinked my eyes hard. Trying to get loose of the thoughts. I reached my hand over to get the science book lieing on the other side of the table. I layed the book infront of me, and let out a heavy sigh. Before I was able to open the book, someone came in. A dark redhead girl. Piercings all the way up her ear, along side her mouth and one stud on her nose. She wore a dark leather skirt, fishnet stockings, combat boots, and a grey t-shirt over a red long sleeved t-shirt. Her dark-gothic make-up made her look dangerous. The pitt black lip-stick...black eye shadow.
''Well Miss Contantay, we aren't worried about being late now are we?'' Mrs.Alexander said looking at the girl. The girl roll her eyes and then opened her mouth to speak. When she opened her mouth bright white teeth flashed.
''It's Contante!'' She said harshly. The girl walked over to her desk and picked up the science book. The girl smirked at her.
She walked over to my table, and sat right in Austin's seat. I sighed quietly. The girl looked up at me and smiled. Her teeth really were white. I noticed sharp fangs in the back.
''New kid huh?'' She said looking down at the microscope, she looked at me out of the corner of her eye. I didn't know how to answer. I just pretended to read the book.
She layed her hand on the table. Long black fingernails over pale white skin showed. She had a ring...It was a long ring. It covered from the nuckel of her hand to the nuckel on her finger. I turned toward her.
''De mage de fon'ce no?'' She said. I had no idea what she said...She knew that too.
''English please?'' I said in a small voice.
''It's italian...'' She smiled and looked up at me. Her light brown eyes eyed the necklace Austin had given to me. She gasped. Her hand quickly enveloped itself around the necklace.
''Where did you get this?'' She said harshly through her teeth.
''My boyfriend gave it to me...'' I explained.
''Austin?''
''Yes...''
She let go.
''You don't know who he really is...'' She said quietly.
''I know more than you think I do.'' I said defenceive-ly. She looked up and me with a smirk. I could tell she didn't know I knew everything. How could she know what he was? I thought. Then it came to me...
''Vampire.''I said outloud looking right at her.
How could I be so stupid?! I thought.
She smiled at me. But not in a nice way...Like a threatning way. My breathe came hard. Her tounge went over her fangs smoothly. The bell rang. I was going to get up as fast as I could and take off running, but she grabbed my arm and yanked me back.
She looked at me with a deathly glare.
''You better tell your boyfriend that, Alexis Contante is back...'' She smiled again. ''-And she knows what shes after...'' She smiled and tilted her head down.
I could hear my classmates voices disapear in the hallway. Mrs.Alexander began to walk over. Alexis let go of my arm. I grabbed my bag and took off running. I ran down three hallways to the bathroom. No one was in here.I dug through my bag to get my phone out. I dialed Austin's number. He answered after the first ring.
''Ashley what's wrong?'' He asked quickly.
''Get over here now.'' I didn't realize I was crying.
''Why what happened?''He said quickly.
''The girl-'' I said not continueing. Then she was behind me. I screamed and dropped my phone. I could here Austin's voice on the other line. He was yelling. ''Ashley! Ashley!'' I heard. She took a step closer and covered my mouth. Then it all went blank...
Hey, I'm typing away at home while my dad takes Mom on an extensive trip to France! Jacob could hardly contain his excitement! Seriously, He's burst into a dog three times- oh, not again Jake! Four times. Anyways, whenever my parents are out, my dad posts up a list of rules. Here's what he wrote.
Renesmee,
your mom and I are going to France. Do not take advantage of this with Jacob. Tell Alice where you're going, and DON'T go to La Push. Watch for bears, and don't go anywhere near the hunting zone. No friends over later than 10:00PM unless it's Jacob(even then don't try anything funny.). Jacob is not allowed on your bed(and I don't care if he's in dog form.). Alice will come over to check in on you regularly, but call her if you need help.

That took me by surprise. As I took my seat next Bella, she whispered, too low for the surrounding humans to hear, that she was proud of me.
When it was over, I was convinced myself and Bella had had a less melodramatic ceremony than this. Then again, perhaps it had been even more so.
Alice had gone over-the-top with decorations, not that Renesmee minded. She was unlike Bella in that way. When it was my turn to dance with her, she whispered, "You'll still be my dad."
Again with the dramatics.
When it was Bella's turn, she let me see her thoughts. A special gift. I enjoyed hearing her thoughts.
"This bothers you more than you're letting on, Edward. Relax, let it go. She'll be fine," Bella said.
"You know me so well," I grinned at her before Emmett claimed her and I was forced to dance with Rosalie.
