itss an stupidity to compare this books because they are completely different stuff :

- HP=wizards
TW=vampires & werewolfs

- HP=fighting against voldemort harry the boy that survive little romances between the characcters
TW=bella&edward love choosing between jacob and edward fighting with vampz

- HP=many little plots ...
TW=not exactly a plot ... just a romance and its odds

- HP=- unlocks a whole new world for readers of ALL ages
TW= is a magic vampire/suspense/romance/young-adult novel series.

- HP=completely fantasty
TW=except for the fact that some character are vampz or werewolfs ... that kind of thing happens in real and normal life ...

-HP=If there were sport for friendship and loyalty in the Olympics, Harry, Ron and Hermione would be the first candidates in winning the gold metal.
TW= Now, if family love is a sport in the Olympics, it's a guarantee that cullens will win the gold.

i have no more reasons but people whats wrong with you they are excellent in their own ways pleasee get over it ... i can say IM SWITZERLAND haha i love them both ...
harry potter is wow ! when all began i was like stupid i have my uniform and all LOL ...
now im more in twilight because of the theme ... it fits more to what is happenong in my life now and i squeal when i see a silver volvo ...

JUZTINXCORE Twilight is so much better. I could never really get into HP. It's kind of overrated anyway.

fireandice love twilight better. I really cant understand harry potter but the magical effects in the movie are great. but i love the story of twilight. :D

kateliness2 I adore Harry Potter and like Twilight. People can compare them if they wish, but for the most part I think they are compared because they are both extremely popular, not because of similarities in stories.

fanpire95 I never got into Harry Potter, but I'm still on Team Swizterland. Because I have a few friends and my godmother who have read both series and loved it. Harry Potter has more books and has been out longer, but still, both series are popular and are in the readers' hearts.

MarauderForever @Horror: Um... yeah. People do that. ALL THE TIME. Mainly Twilight people against Harry Potter. All I have to say is Harry Potter is awesome. Nothing will uproot that series. Though I did go through the Twilight fad and still watch the movies when they premiere...

Dear Twilight fans,

I was you one day. Addicted to Twilight and couldnt ever stop reading it even if i had already read it 4 times. But trust me on this one will you. READ ANOTHER BOOOK!!! AFTER YOU DO THAT TWILIGHT WILL SEEM LIKE A STUPID ROMANCE STORY.

After I had read Twilight saga about 8 times i read Harry Potter.

And all i can say is whoa!!

1. harry potter has a plot line that has never been used before.
2. twilight was a very easy read. simple sentences. i could write it
3. harry potter uses some imagination.
4. if edward wasnt sexy, everyone would be creeped out by him
